Bought this cake mix for myself for Mothers' Day as I'm on a low carb diet. Very clear instructions and super easy to make. You need a 9" x 2" cake tin for it and don't forget to buy cream cheese for the frosting as that part's not immediately obvious on the packaging. The picture on the front is quite misleading as you'd probably need TWO of these cake mixes to make a cake that deep with filling in the middle. Doesn't rise much as it cooks so you'd struggle to slice it in half and spread frosting inside, but very generous frosting amounts for the top.Overall, the cake tastes ok with a good texture and a slight coconut flavour from the flour. I loved the frosting, though, and licked the bowl clean. It's immediately distinguishable from a traditional chocolate cake, but a good substitute if you need a low carb alternative.

The cake is moist and has a nice taste; however I was not very keen on the frosting. Saying that, you might want to add some drops of flavour like orange to make it more interesting (just a thought)

Soft tasty and moist, not sure why there is a review that it tastes eggy, unless they used 4 eggs not egg whites. YOu need cream cheese for the icing. We all enjoyed it and I would buy again for convenience.

It's a nice cake. Not sweet enough for my taste. Too expensive for the amount, also considering that the frosting needs cream cheese to be added, which increases the price to another £2-3.
