NO GIGABIT Ethernet port as described, but otherwise it seems good.
Unfortunately the Ethernet port on this device is NOT GIGABIT speed as stated in the product listing. It is a 100 Mbps port. The main reason why I chose to buy this was because I was under the belief that it had a gigabit Ethernet port. This is not surprising, given its comparatively low price. This information needs to be corrected in the product listing because the product is being mis-sold.Putting that issue aside, the device is very easy to set up (though this has some cons as I outline further on), and it is rather compact compared to most other similar devices, and both the wired and wireless connection appeared to be stable in my brief testing. The wireless speed also appeared to be acceptable, albeit not fast or near the theoretical rated wireless speed.Although it is very straightforward to set up, the configuration options are extremely primitive. The only settings it provides are options to select which existing Wi-Fi network to connect to (and extend) and also what Wi-Fi names (SSIDs) and password you would like to set for the extended 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 GHz network. There are no other visible settings in the web interface (e.g. customisable basic network settings or advanced wireless settings). However, this appears to be intentional, and this may be fine for you, depending on your particular network configuration and needs.Note that when this device extends the existing Wi-Fi network, it will do so using the same subnet as your existing network. That is, it does not create and reside on its own subnet or have its own DHCP server which it uses to assign IP addresses. The existing DHCP server (typically your router) on your existing network will be used to assign IP addresses to devices which connect via it. This is preferable in most cases, but again it will depend on your particular network configuration and needs. Also, the configuration interface of the device will continue to reside on its own subnet that is accessible only via the IP address 192.168.188.1. Obviously, that won't be directly accessible once you have set up the extender, in the case that your home network resides on a different subnet (which is likely will). This means that should you wish to access and change the settings in the web interface after setting it up, your computer or mobile device will need to be on the same subnet as the extender - you can manually assign your computer or mobile device a static IP address on that subnet (e.g. 192.168.188.200) in order to gain access to the web interface, without needing to factory reset the device.

Instructions aren't great
I'm not a techie, but not a non-techie either and have always managed to set things up given enough time. However, the instructions that came with this were really confusing and took me a couple of hours to work out. Now that it's set up, I'm not sure if it's properly connected to my devices as only my laptop is showing the icon, but not the desktop, mobile nor any of my other hardware. Very confusing indeed. The instructions need to be clearer and give more information.

Really good
Got this to pair up with my D-Link router and to try and cover a half of the house that was struggling with signal. It came up as an amazon recommended one so went for it.I works really well. The upstairs now has a bit more of a signal and has stopped the eldest daughter moaning! One interesting thing is that is shows up as Nokia hardware on the router, so it maybe has a nokia chip in it somewhere.Good value

Great start and then downhill from there.
All great and instructions were ok to follow and when I got it working on day one, I was happy. Day two my gadgets wouldn’t connect unless I switched it off. This I did and gadgets connected, day 3 same happened, day 4 same happened. I decided to reset and reinstall, this worked until the next day. So good product if it wasn’t for the fact I had to switch off every day.

Simple to set up.
Really pleased with the booster gives good coverage and simple to set up, just follow the instruction. Placed the booster about 15m away from the broadband router though it would struggle with the distance but no problem at all. Now have great WiFi in my garden office.

Fast speed and easy installation!
I have bought this WIFI Booster for lofts room, since I installed, it gave wifi to the upstairs rooms which had been lacking. The WiFi signal is full and has got a fast speed! I am very pleased for this product!

We poor reception
This isn’t very good, my WiFi still doesn’t work properly, unless it’s the booster that doesn’t work, don’t buy it.
