In the second act, the Major II headphone features a whole new level of sound, look and durability at an even higher level. With the custom drivers, it provides a well balanced sound quality with clear midtones, extended treble and low bass sounds. The Major II thus fully complies with the company's conviction and is still another reliable workhorse among Marshall's brand-typical products.

Fast delivery
The item came early than the ETA. The product is as describe. It kind of uncomfortable to the ears like the other headphones when you wear it in a long time but it'll adjust if you use it regularly.

Enjoyable sound signature!!
Disclaimer- Audiophiles, my review is not for you. This is for those who are upgrading to over 5000/- headphones for the first time.Initially I'd like to say, please do use for at least 1 week before judging any headphones or earphones.I brought these during Big Billion Day for 6200/- including 10% discount on card transaction. The first day, I received these headphones, they sounded really bad. But now they are badass!! So the first day these cans had only bass and no loudness at all. Thought of returning these but eventually these got better and now they are really enjoyable. Usually I listen at full volume but with these cans I have to reduce to 70-80% volume even while I'm using YouTube. They're really loud!!Sound quality: 4.5/5As mentioned, enjoyable. They do not have instrument separation kind of music as in Sennheiser (I used 4.40 bt) but instead just opposite but with no compromise on clarity. I know I'm sounding contradictory... but these cans have clarity. If you're upgrading or have a collection of headphones then you should certainly have these. As these could be the go-to headphones for most of them. (Ofcourse depends on your personal taste)Basically these are Bass heavy but you can definitely adjust the amount of bass per your discretion, just by tweaking equaliser. No matter what genre you listen to, these headphones will certainly deliver the best enjoyable music. Vocals, Treble, Bass everything are perfect and can be adjustable the way you want through equaliser. But when in neutral, these are bass heavy with clear mids. Soundstage is decent enough and you'll notice that over a period of time.Build quality: 4.5/5Made of good quality plastic and metal headband which is covered with leather and has got good amount of padding. Earcups are removable, has good amount of padding. The brass material used gives a premium look to it. Overall these are amazing. I'm only worried about the connecting hinge..... Wait, the aux cable that Marshall provides with these cans is awesome!! Just check the picture. Never saw such amazing cable!!Comfort: 4/5Well, I give to priority to comfort when it comes to headphones. These are decent enough. Not really comfortable but I'm sure eventually these will get adjusted to your head size. Because these have metal headband not plastic. Initially it may feel hard on your ears but over a period of time it will get adjusted. Yes the clamping force is lil high. But not as much as to be a deal-breaker. I personally used these for almost 6hrs continuously watching Netflix by adjusting almost 10times inbetween(don't forget, didn't get used to these yet)Things I wish these headphones had:Carry bag, NFC, even better cushioning on earpads or preferably over the ear design. Still these are not a deal-breaker for the price they're offered.Overall these are amazing!! I'd definitely suggest these headphones to everyone. What all would someone expect from headphones??These headphones for around 6500/- has got Bass(definitely adjustable), enjoyable sound signature (unique I feel), 30+ hrs battery, sturdiness, classic vintage looks, world-class branding, the best aux cable (optional), single joystick button for multi-purpose use, compact, etc. I don't know what wide would someone need!?!?Please do not compare these headphones with any other cans.... These are definitely unique and enjoyable. If you're someone who has been using Sennheiser headphones, then I don't suggest these cans to you. Rest, is on your own discretion.Hope I was clear and helpful!

Decent and the recent price drop is a great reason to buy.
I currently own two sets of headphones, these and an Audio Technica Quiet Point-ATHANC7b.I spent 3 times as much on the ATs than I did these, and let me tell you, these easily come up to par when comparing sound quality (Especially bass) AND considering the ATs are active noise canceling. They don't handle quite as well in loud environments but do decently at home or in public. The only downside is that they pinch quite quickly on the ears and top of the head, they're quite small as headphones go and if you wear glasses you'll probably feel it a bit.

Steal for the price
At the outset, I don't belong to that mystic race of men who go by the moniker 'Audiophiles' and as such, this is a layman's review so please don't stone me to death O Gods of All Things Sonic. Having thus offered my tribute to the standard bearers of sound quality, here's my humble review.I bought these headphones as an upgrade from Creative Soundblaster Jam which were my first proper Bluetooth headphones and have served me well over the last nearly 3 years. The only true reason I was looking for an upgrade was the battery life which has, as is natural, somewhat diminished over the last 3 years. The other minor reason was that after almost three long years, I was yearning for a change. When I started doing my research, the first headphones I came across was the Sennheiser 4.40s but most of the reviews were talking about the sound output not being that great, especially the bass. Besides someone in my friend's circle grabbed a pair of Sennheiser 4.50s at a sale for the same price as the 4.40s and those come with Active Noise Cancellation. So I say 'nay' to the Sennheisers and continued my research. This is when one of my friends, a quasi-audiophile, introduced me to the Marshall brand (honestly I hadn't even heard about the brand and the first time I saw Marshall Major 3 I thought it was a cheap twist on Marshall Mathers III! I am a Philistine). Anyways, most of the reviews I came across were extremely positive. Interestingly most of the reviewers admitted having received nearly 50 hours of battery life at 50% volume on a single charge. That, along with the no-cost EMI being offered by HDFC at the time was the deal clincher for me and I placed the order.Received the product on time (Kudos Amazon!) and immediately tested them on. Here's my experience so far:Build Quality - The minimalist design feels very premium and vintage. The straps are metal instead of plastic and the leather feels genuine (don't know if that is the case though). However, I really wish they had made the hinges sturdier. While they don't bend easily, the look somewhat wiry and that makes me really nervous. I am glad I ordered a hardcase by XCSOURCE together with the headphones. The earcups are also very well built and offer a comfortable feeling.Sound Quality - I could immediately feel the difference from my previous headphones. Crystal clear sound at just 46% volume. The ear cups do a great job of isolating ambient noise (well, mostly). In fact, I never had to go beyond 50% so far, whereas with the creatives I had to mandatorily cross 70% and still hear all the nearby noises. Note: On day one, the headphones felt a little too bass heavy but with the time that feeling has gone away. I am told that it requires at least a week's usage to "burn in" these headphones, which is probably true because the sound feels a lot smoother these days.Battery Life - The out-of-the-box manual suggests that you should charge these headphones for at least 6 hours for usage. I didn't really do that and started using it straight away. Now, I use headphones for at least 12 hours a day. Today is the third day of usage but I still didn't see a low battery sign.Comfort - Here I have a minor complaint. While everything else is just great about these headphones, the clamping I feel is a little too tight. After a few hours of usage, you do start feeling the pressure on your ears. In fact, I had a minor headache after using these over 8 hours time (this wasn't the case with the creatives). However, I am willing to cut some slack on that given that these headphones are still shining new and hopefully, it will adapt itself to my comfort. Conclusion:Overall, I feel that these headphones are well worth the price, in fact, perhaps even better than the price and you should go ahead with this.

Faulty product with poor warranty service
I ordered the headphones in May and I loved it; they were light, comfortable, and with good sound quality. However, one of my headphones became faulty in October: the volume was significantly lower than the other and it could be fixed temperately by moving the cable. I therefore contacted the warranty services and they told me that I have to totally destroy the headphones and send them a photo so that they could send me a new one. I did as they told and they have created a new order through the marshall website, this is where things became problematic. First of all, I received an email generated by the system and there was no tracking number for the delivery (there was a field but it was blank). I emailed the support and they responded quickly and provided me with a tracking number. I thought, okay, it would just take a few days, but NOPE. I waited two weeks and they just told me that the courier failed to make the delivery and it has been returned to their warehouse. I just emailed them and find out what to do but after two weeks of destroying my partially working headphones, I still have not received my replacement. I will provide an update when/if I could receive the replacement.

No grandes)
