Lovely pure talc - soft, gentle scent (not your usual sandalwood)
In my search for pure talcum body powder (NOT cornstarch) I discovered these Yardley of London perfumed body talcs. These are high quality, premium perfumed talcs, and I have loved the other scents very much. But Sandalwood scented things can sometimes go sideways - heavy, woody "incense" smelling - not this one. Another review encouraged me to try this one, and she was right - this is like a soft, floral baby powder scent, not your usual heavy sandalwood. These Yardley talcs are pure talc, and unlike cornstarch, do not change in performance or smell as you wear them. In this 2026 heat, they have kept me feeling clean, dry and lovely smelling all day! Worth every penny to find pure talcum powder in so many wonderful scents! God bless!

High quality powder, wish there were more scents. More of a woody or smokey scent
The smell was not what I was hoping for. ( I am picky with my scents) I recieved the "Imperial Sandalwood". I was hopeful the scent would leave a woody scent. Unfortunately it was more of a floral/ baby powder scent. But the powder is of a high quality. Goes onto your skin smoothly and leaves a subtle scent on your skin. I do wish there was an option for this product to come with a powder poof.

Doesn’t smell like sandalwood
I was really looking forward to this because Sandalwood is one of my favorite sense. Unfortunately, this didn’t smell like sandalwood to me at all. It smelled like traditional baby powder. I read on a different review that the company seems to have recently changed this sent which is disappointing. Otherwise the product works as intended real health powder keeping you cool and dry.

Talc good but tin opening is deficient.
The talc itself is very good but the tin does not open and close easily. The opening soon gets blocked due to the inner lining of the twist top which does not move smoothly. This does not happen with the Lily of the Valley tin., which I bought at the same time.
