GewaForm Shaped Violin case (PS350088)

I bought this violin case to replace one that was 50 years old and lacked room for a shoulder rest. The case was well-packaged and arrived without any damage or scratches. There is a velcro strap inside that works well to secure a Kun collapsible shoulder rest. I love the "subway strap" on the outside and the removable, zippered bag inside for storing essentials such as rosin, pencils and extra strings. My violin fits inside nicely, there is a velcro strap to secure the neck, and the case looks solid and protective. I removed the padded music pouch but it's nice to have that as an option. Be aware that the case does not lock; that was not a deal-breaker for me. It's a sturdy, good-looking case that I hope to enjoy using for a long time.

The case had one of the standing buds damaged. It doesn’t really affect it being able to stand upright but I am wondering what kind of handling it had for it to be delivered. Or if it is a second hand case and not new as posted? Also, I don’t know if this will affect its waterproof protection since it is cracked on the bud’s side.Also, the Velcro that is supposed to hold the violin in place doesn’t have the grasp to hold it. And the violin is loose on the inside due to this.

Though made in china, German design and quality control is good

El estuche perfecto pero el mosquetón de una las correas llegó roto. Los seguros de los mosquetones está hecho de un plástico de bajísima calidad . Esperaba más de Gewa . Además Seur no entregó el paquete en mi domicilio a pesar de haber estado esperando todo el día el envío .

Tja, was soll ich sagen. Ich bin begeistert. Gestern bestellt – heute geliefert. Und super verpackt.Ein wunderschöner Koffer – sehr elegant. Mit dem kann man sich wirklich sehen lassen…Deshalb von mir 5 Sterne!

J'attendais cet étui avec impatience, j'étais très déçue qu'on m'envoie un produit défectueux au final..
