Tough little jars that is multi purpose. I switched out the caps for plastic ones to store things that doesn’t need to be canned, but metal lids works too. Sous vide yoghurt, jelly, or even puddings can be cooked in them. Or store little bits of left over or sauces.

I've already bought 36 canning jars (quart, pint and half pint sizes) from SupermartUSA here on amazon and am very happy with them as the prices were good, they arrived quickly and there was no custom fee to pay as the parcels were posted from UK. This set is for 12 jars, each jar holds 236ml so sligthly smaller than the 250ml british Kilner jars. The jars are really good quality. I use them for canning, freezing, storing food in the fridge and in the pantry. When it is time to replace the lids and rings, you can use the Kilner ones as they are perfectly compatible. All in all, I highly recommend these and will be back to buy more. If you check the price from time to time, you may get them at a bargain price, I bought mine for £13.82 with free delivery.
