My husband is a white male with type 1 (bone straight) hair. Our 5 year old daughter has curly type 3 hair. Generally, despite her hair FEELING more similar to her daddy’s, it BEHAVES more like mine; it’s dry, needs moisture on a regular basis, and is prone to tangles. I’ve tried multiple products out there on the market but nothing works long term to keep her hair moisturized. It would help if she wore a bonnet to bed to keep her hair protected, but being a 5 year old it is impossible to keep anything on her head at night. I came across this particular hair detangler after searching Amazon for products specifically for type 3 hair. I figured I needed something lightweight. My own hair prefers thick, creamy products, but these products tend to weigh down her hair. I was a little turned off by the 14.99 price, but decided to give it a try.IT WORKS. I actually use this as a daily moisturizer for her. It's advertised as a detangler but I am more interested in the moisturizing aspects of it. Unfortunately the bad thing is that the bottle does not last long. It only seems to come in 4 ounces which sadly only lasted about a week with daily use. (6 days) My child’s hair, when wet, reaches to her behind but the strands are fine. Her hair was moisturized without looking greasy or weighed down AND it helped eliminate the frizz. For me, I spray a little water on her hair first, then use the Roseberry detangler spray. Then I follow up with a lightweight oil for sheen (either grapeseed oil or sesame seed oil). Sometimes I will use a dab of creamy moisturizer on her edges after using the Roseberry detangler (as her edges are the ones that get dry fastest) I’ve already ordered this spray 3 times. I hope they do not discontinue it. I also hope they eventually start making larger sizes, as the 4 ounce size, for anyone with curly/kinky hair is a JOKE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great detangler, but the bottle is too small. *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2016* The product is great for my 6 year old, she has long curly very fine hair and can brush her own hair when she uses this. It's honestly the best detangler I have ever used. I'm very sensitive to smells, and this has a very light smell that is not chemical and fake, and it does not linger on her hair which is a huge plus for me. I cannot stand to lie in the bed beside her and smell some icky hair detangler . The ONLY reason it did not get 5 stars from me is the bottle does not last very long and it's quite expensive.
