It cuts round and oval pills reasonably well, if you don't need total precision. I cut caffeine pills all the time, and pain killers, neither of which need milligram precision, and this unit will last me forever. It also holds the extra cuts, which is very handy.

Love this pill cutter. It is the only pill cutter I could find in Amazon that can cut circular, 0.8 inch pills.

I like that it both cuts pills and pops pills out of foil packs. There's a space for cut pills to fall into. That said, I wish the most functional aspect worked better. The blade itself isn't nearly as sharp as I'd hoped.

Have used this cutter now for several weeks and it has worked great. I love the cushion pad that holds the pills just enough so they don't slide. Also like the small area that collects the pieces if you need to cut several back to back. The blade is very sharp even after cutting dozens of pills. Definitely recommend for the price!

I've had many pill splitters but this one has a pill holder that angles downward. Because of that angle, pills don't move, slip, or slide when you cut them. The pills cut down the middle with ease. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is made of plastic and will eventually crack.
