Case perfection.
Best phone case I’ve ever used. This case is perfect. The thickness is just enough the offer protection. The fit is perfect. Love the texture. Doesn’t feel like it will stretch out at all, unlike other cases. It’s a lot more rigid but still movable. The buttons work well. I bought the original version and this 2nd one is much improved over the original in regards to the buttons. Bottom line is that this case functions perfectly, fits perfectly, and feels great, while offering the right amount of protection without being bulky. My only wish is that it came in more colors!

Probably the Best iPhone 12 Case for the Money
I tried a half dozen other cases—from Spigen, Caudabe, Totallee, Speck, and Incipio—before settling on the clear Smartish Kung Fu Grip. This product simply has the best combination of fit, form, function, quality, and value available in an iPhone 12 case. It’s as close to being minimalist as possible while still providing full coverage, drop protection, and just the right amount of grip. Their customer service is great too: they quickly provided a replacement for the first case we received that had a slight problem with the buttons. Unless your intended use requires extreme drop protection or something, I can’t imagine a better case.

Enjoyable case! Great all around purchase.
- Case is grippy, like the name says. No false advertising there.- Doesn't add much size or weight to the phone at all, has a slim profile.- Blue case vibes well with the blue iPhone 12.- Packaging is top notch, lots of humor combined with minimal hassle.

Great overall case
Can't speak for durability and it's drop protection, but will update review should a situation happen. The case is great in terms of grip and still being slim enough that it doesn't diminish the comfortability of the 12 mini. I'm also a fan of how the camera bump is indented down while the case is lined up with it so there's no bump at all unlike some other cases I've had. Sleek and minimal case that should serve for light drops and so, love it.

The Perfect case
Whatever kind of magic mix of material and texture they’ve got on their cases it is perfect. It’s grippy without being sticky at all. It’s the stickiness of materials that make them difficult in pockets and in general on fabric and surfaces. I started off with an apple silicone case, and they’re just too slippery. This case was a huge upgrade.

Perfect case for 12 mini
ok so my usual favorite cases for my iphones are uag (monarch), spigen (liquid crystal hybrid), raptic (shield), caseology (legion) and otterbox (commuter).and I tried all these for my new 12 mini... but the best (by far for me anyway) is the smartish (kung fu grip in "blues on the green"). reasons are many:perfectly grippy, meaning in and out of pocket easy without lint but not out of hand easy... slightly raised goosebumps along edges aren't abrasive, but are comfortable. also, the phone stays put when I put it somewhere.edge "raise-vity" (thanks FC) along the screen and camera protect both without being obtrusive and hindering screen swipes like many other cases (otterbox commuter and defender)cutouts and buttons are awesome... and no annoying flap covering the mini's lightning port. so much fun fumbling with it in the truck to enable non-wireless carplay.looks... I don't need to see my apple logo or show off the color of my phone, so the solid blue color is awesome and it's matte so no fingerprints.wireless charging... ok so the 12 mini is, well, mini. meaning the surface area for charging via old-fashioned wireless qi pads is tiny. so much that I needed to purchase a freakin magsafe charger so that it would self-center and the mini would be happily charging along. FYI I didn't overpay for an apple magsafe, I got the edelorn walnut wood magsafe charger along with a spigen 20 watt usb c charging brick... one of the annoying things about the mini. but this case allows for decent magsafe magnetics. qi also works but like previously stated, good luck finding the g spot for the mini.bottom line, for $15 bucks, this is the best option for me and my mini. hope this review helps.

Decent case, but more like Tai Chi than Kung Fu
The case is pretty good, it is snugly fit and pretty sleek for those that like more minimal cases. The man issue I have is that I purchased this case solely for the grip aspects. While it is textured, the actual material is still not very grippy. Other cases in other TPU or dual-material have more material or designed grip, which was disappointing to me as the selling factor and name of this case is to do with grip.I have severe neuropathy and muscle issues in my hands and sometimes just drop my phone from weakness so I was looking for a case specifically for grip. Seems like I should have purchased the Gripzilla case from Smartish but I also didn't want a monster case. Maybe it's my fault for not just going that way at first. I'm going to keep trying this case for a while and see how it fares but if you expect the material of this case to be soft/grippy/have friction, it is/does not, it is a hard, materially slick case with texture on it a bit like worn sandpaper that is not altogether as grippy as the cool name and Smartish ad material would lead you to believe.

It’s a great case to improve grip. Seems sturdy, though only time will tell. Really nice design.

MagSafe compatability is nice, but the case is sub par
I’ve been using this case for 3 days now and not sure if I will keep using it. The materials and quality are very nice, but it is not as grippy as I expected (considering the marketing). I don’t really have any issues with that because it does feel good in hand. The MagSafe is strong and the price is decent for a MagSafe case. The real issues that I have are that the MagSafe part is already starting to show an imprint only after 2 days, but the biggest problem is the fit.The material is a bit stiff (not sure if it will become more flexible), but it does not fit snug all around. It seems like there is space inside, especially on the left side below the buttons, so the case “squishes” and moves when you grip it and it is very annoying. You can push the side in with your finger and it comes away from the case after. This seems to only happen ok the left side.I don’t know if this will become worse or better over time, but compared to the many UAG and Spigen cases that I have for the same phone, I have not had this issue before and it is annoying.Right out of the box, I’ve only taken it off and put it on a handful of times to try and see if I can get it to fit better, but no luck. So I know this is not from any wear and tear.

Almost perfect for me
I’ve only had this case for a few days, and already I’m pretty happy with it. It feels well-made and the sides feel nice and grippy without being sticky enough to attract lint and dust like a silicon case would. It also feels solid, so I feel that my phone is well protected, but not too thick as to add a lot of heft to the phone. The fit is perfect, the buttons have no play and are easy to press, and all the cutouts are well done and amply accommodate the Apple charging cable. I haven’t tried MagSafe charging, but magnetic accessories stick to the case just fine. My one complaint about this case is that the edge of the case rises above the screen more than I’d like, to the point that it interferes with tapping around the edges of the screen, especially when I’m reaching across the screen with a finger. I know this is to protect the screen in a fall, and it’s certainly not a deal-breaker for me, but I would gladly trade a little protection for more usability. Overall, this is a minor flaw in what is a pretty enticing package, so of course I’m keeping the case as my daily driver.
