TimexBoys Time Machines Digital Watch

I bought this for my son's 9th birthday. Nice watch but like the reviews on Amazon.com (rather than Amazon.co.uk) do NOT take it near water. After swimming just once (not diving just surface swimming) it fogged up and is still slightly fogged after a few days and the light does not work anymore. For the twenty pounds I paid I can buy a decent brand for a couple of pounds less that is a 100m water proof that I'm sure will handle swimming unlike this 30m water proof watch. I bought it because Amazon will deliver there own stuff (not 3rd party) to Malta, and as a child I has a Timex and assumed it would be good. To be honest, I'm a 'John Candy' man and love a Casio - my Casio keeps better time than my wife's Rolex! It's a shame as the watch is really good other than that! I am of course sending it back.....this is why I buy from Amazon as they will accept returns without issue.

We bought this for my son's first cub camp with his birthday money - he wanted to know he would be able to know what time it was if he woke in the night so we instantly looked at Indiglo backlit watches . He is over the moon with it and wears it every day to school. In particular, it doesn't have the typical 'buckle' strap so it is easy to take off and put on, and he is independently taking note of the time and making sure we are where we need to be at the right time - great from a mum's point of view too! 10/10 Timex.

I bought this because of the soft elasticated easy to put on strap - and it's great. My 9 year old autistic boy loves it - he would struggle with any other strap or anything too complex. It's nice and simple, clear display, and perfect small size for a kid too!

Nice little watch but in my opinion not suitable for boys that are around the age of 6 upwards as it is too small and does not have enough functions

Nice watch, great for the 7 year old I purchased it for and no fiddly buckle - the strap is elastic!!
