I personally prefer to use my finger with these. Idk if this answers your question **Q: Are the pans magnetic so I can refill it?** A: No it doesn't **Q: What is the difference in the packaging?** A: The colors are not as bright as the pictures show. Beautiful colors but no where as bright as shown. Just a warning. **Q: Are the two pallets separate and can you carry them in a large purse?** A: Yes, you can separate the pallets when you open up the case and take them out and i believe they will fit nicely into a large purse.
