Great for spring pike and bass.
I have really been enjoying this thing! I would say that it has been out-fishing the standard shad-rap jerkbait for spring pike and even some nice bass. It's a nice option for where I live - a metro area were pike are eating small panfish rather than minnows. the rattling action is great too - I can feel it in my kayak when it gets close. If pedators are not very active, this bait may be a little aggresive, but when they are actively feeding - make sure to use a leader! I am actually back on this site to pick up a new one since I got bit off after catching the pictured fish.This is turning into a rant but I also wanted to say that this bait is especially nice because its small and works well with light tackle (great if you are a kayak and bank fisherman like me) but its also dense and casts well without the need for additional weight.
