Project Patio’s 1.5 Inch Wrought Iron Furniture Feet Glides are a 24-pack of durable, UV-resistant plastic caps designed to fit snugly into 1.5-inch diameter wrought iron furniture legs. These American-made glides prevent floor scratches, eliminate noise, and withstand outdoor weather, offering a long-lasting, easy-to-install solution for preserving your patio surfaces.

## Description

Measure before ordering! These chair leg caps pressure fit into the bottom of your existing patio furniture feet with 1-1/2" cups. You will need to use force to install the glides since they are friction fit. Use a rubber mallet or rubber hammer. A regular hammer can crack the part. Place the glide on top of the cup so that it is level. A piece of tape can be helpful to hold the glide in place if you are having trouble. Hit the glide directly in the middle and down into the cup. Start with a medium strike to get the glide started. Once the glide is level and set in the cup, continue to hit it the rest of the way. The pressure from the glide's outer nubs against the inside of the cup wall will ensure a tight fit.

I really liked these well made gliders. Many reviews said they didn’t fit or were so very hard to put in, but if folks would read the instructions to heat them first, they go in quite nicely by first placing them evenly just inside the hole and then using like a small square of wood or something that gives you leverage to push all of it down in the hole evenly at the same time. I also used a heat gun gently where I needed a little added heat on a cold day as I was installing them in 40 Deg weather. They have to fit right to stay in, so don’t complain about tight fit. I also like the little hole that allows moisture to escape.
