"A very long time" doesn't tell me if it will be on when needed in a self defense situation.** A: I read an estimated year with a premium battery on the instructions. Make sure to put the rubber protective cover on when not in use. **Q: Will this fit glock 43x mos** A: It will if it has the appropriate mounting cut in the top. I have a Glock 43 with a Zaffiri slide that has an RMSc cut and this went on with very tight tolerances.
