This watch exceeded all my expectations when my previous Garmin watch broke . It was half the price of my previous watch , which broke at a completely unexpected time . But the venu sq does everything I need. I run , gym and golf several times a week. The watch has performed perfectly so far , and I also think it looks good. If you're on a budget this is an excellent sports watch. I couldn't live without it , which I found out after my last one died.

When my last Fitbit broke down only a month after the year guarantee finished I decided to try a different brand. Firstly, the Garmin is far superior to the Fitbit. Sleep accuracy and step tracking is so much better. (No wagging your wrist to get your steps up like a Fitbit!). Secondly the Garmin connect app is also so much better than the Fitbit app. It actually works for a start! But m so much happier with this health tracker and it has so many features and functions to keep you interested.

the display is heavily dated now but for an older device it works perfectly for your everyday needs. Ever had a fitbit? well garmin allows you to layer information over say your sleep record, so you can see things like heart rate and spo2 levels during the night along with movement etc. As with all activity watches its only as good and as useful as you make it. This makes a really useful and affordable device but bad if you mainly want a watch. i get about 4-5 days off a single charge. (i have SPo2 on night only). If you use spofity you can download playlists straight onto the watch which is a cool feature but i tend to take my phone with me anyways. The app is dated for this device and im unsure if its the same app for all devices but again this is forgivable due to the meshing of data. providing interesting insights to your activities. I would highly recommend. Bare in mind that this device is square and that most of their new devices are round. Most watchfaces available are for the round device so there is a lack of options for this one. If customising the look matters i would go for the frontier.

Looks great, amazing quality, very comfortable, waterproof, GPS, has onboard music storage, phoen app notifications, make your own watch faces and connects to Spotify. Sleep tracking, heart rate, stress monitoring it goes on and on. All you can want in a watch 3 or 4 times the price and this one lasts a full WEEK on one charge !! Researched a lower price smart watch for months, settled on this, not disappointed at all. Recommended 👍

Exactly as advertised

Activity tracking and heart rate seem pretty accurate and extra features like music work well. Watch is also comfortable and looks good. However, sleep tracking is dreadful in comparison to my old Fitbit. It just assumes your asleep if you're lying down, even if you might be awake for a considerable time. I also bought this because of the golf gps function, to save wearing two devices. Unfortunately the golf accuracy is woeful. Miles off what my playing partners are seeing with their devices and no help to me at all. Used my S10 Approach watch today, side by side with this Venu and there was over 40 yards difference!! The S10 was accurate, so the Venu is pointless for golf. Disappointed overall.

Easy to use watch with great colour, long battery life and a comfortable fitting strap. The overall quality of the device beats any other watches I've tried. I use daily and for running which it work very well for.

Only reason it is not 5 starts is because the sleep monitoring is not reliable. Even If I get up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom it won't detect as wake. It does detect REM and deep sleep. Not sure if I trust it though. Other than that it is great. GPS works really well. It has many features of more expensive Garmin watches. The app is fantastic. The weight training mode is fairly good. Depending on the type of workout it will detect the type, like bench press, and the number of reps as well. It is impressive.
