My kids race pit bikes, so when one of them needed a new exhaust, this is what we picked.Did it fit? yes. but the end can on this system is bigger than most, so we needed to make some adjustments to the hanger and routing to make it fit in the same location as the system it replaced.did it work? - yes, but for a limited time. The mounting of the end can to the exhaust pipe isn't particularly great, just a set screw that binds against the pipe. Too loose and it rattles off. Too tight and it dents the pipe, making you turn it tighter - an ever increasing and non-resolving problem until the mid pipe breaks.would I buy it again? Probably not. It was a reasonable short term solution, but not a very good overall solution. The next round will be done using better parts.

This is the second start up with the muffler. Sounds great. Will update review after a few months.I give it four stars because it doesn’t have a spark arrester. I drilled out the rivets and put a stainless steel mesh over the end to give it a spark arrester. Would be a nice addition. Almost impossible to find a 1 inch spark arrester.UPDATE:Now April 2022, still working like a champ. Green has fade from brilliant beetle to more of a soft rustic shiny green. Pleased with this little muffler. Would buy again for a coolster.

Couldn’t install it on an Apollo 125. The existing muffler has an extension pipe welded to it that allows the muffler to mount under the rear plastic. I’m sure this muffler would work great if I were to cut the extension pipe off the muffler but my issue was the extension pipe.

Pros-it sounds great! Made this little Tao Tao DB14 pit bike sound great!Cons-Pain to install. Had to cut the pipe, had to cut the extender bracket off the original muffler, so to install stall it took, sawsall, grinder, drill with carbide drill bit, and additional hardware and some ingenuity. If you’re good with tools and the like, it’s not too annoying of a project. If you’re not mechanically inclined, DO NOT PURCHASE. Also to note, it isn’t the same diameter as the exhaust pipe, it’s a little loose of a fit. So not sure who lied, the bike company or the muffler company. But it doesn’t leak to where it causes any problems. Good Luck!

Took about a month longer than specifyd in the shipping date..will fit a tao tao 110 with modification..when I got it the whole thing was scratched up and honestly is not much of a muffler.
