Great mind boggling puzzles!
This is a fun but CHALLENGING set. I purchased it for my 9 year old daughter who basically has an amazing (borderline photographic) visual memory. I thought it would be something fun to challenge her and keep her busy - especially in the car so we can try to keep her occupied and off the electronics (I-Pad).The set comes with 7 mini puzzles. Each puzzle is different with a different goal or way to solve, and I think they have a range of difficulty and some are harder than others. 5 of the puzzles are plastic and require different ways of putting shapes back together or taking them apart. My daughter mastered a couple of these right away. Just be careful when you take them apart if you can't solve them right away find a bag to keep all the pieces together so you don't lose one! It doesn't come with storage containers so that is something we've done just put them in a plastic ziploc bag. The hardest one is the wooden block which to me looks similar to a rubix cube, but you don't twist and turn the pieces you take it apart and then have to put them back together. It's stumped me and her for a while now - but we'll get it soon! The last puzzle is the metal hooks you have to disconnect. We've had some puzzles like this before and it does take a little bit to solve and figure out but it's been keeping her busy.I do have to say these puzzles would be appropriate for older students (aged 8-12) as I think younger kids could loose interest or get frustrated with the puzzles. My daughter is 9 and struggles with some of them, but we have been working together to try to solve them which has been fun! They are unique and different from other IQ puzzles I've seen around, which is nice. They seem good quality and I don't seem them breaking and they will hold up well with my kids. They do come in a plastic bag - not a box so if you are going to give it as a gift you'll have to package it a little differently.Overall, great set of IQ puzzles that will keep your brain engaged and challenge you!!!

Great party activity for all ages!
I didn't buy these for kids, I bought them for adults. They were a blast! We had a party for my daughter's college graduation at a local restaurant in one of their party rooms. We invited family and friends to the dinner and had an age group that spanned newborn to 70+. I also purchased wooden puzzles similar to these and a couple of coloring books (adult and preschool). The party started an hour before dinner was served so I passed these out to people at the different tables. (I also put name tags on everyone so that even if we didn't introduce all guests to one another, they could at least know each other's names.) They were a hit. The snake puzzle, green and tan cube, was probably the favorite. While most difficult to solve, it was great fun to play with. The star puzzle was easy to figure out while the others took a bit more time and varying levels of skill. I have to admit we played with and mastered each of the puzzles so we help out our guests if they became stuck. These proved a great icebreaker and everyone seemed to have fun. I think if you were to buy a bag of these and just toss it to your child to play with alone it might not be successful gift. These are much more fun to share and work on together.

Great puzzles, Bad quality
you get what you paid for, these are good puzzles but quality isn't great. there is one wooden one, one metal one and rest are very flimsy plastic. they work fine. but they are super flimsy. wooden one broke in a month. and instructions aren't easy at all to understand. I had to youtube instructions for my 7 year old

For older kids, not recommended for preschoolers
These are nice puzzles, good quality. But I bought for my 5 year old. Even I havent been able to solve the cube one. Have not attempted the others, and they have held no interest for my 5 year old. Would recommend it for an older kid though. Maybe 8 or 9 and up

Great Challenges - But May Be Too Complex for the Under 6 Crowd
I purchased this set as a gift for my children (ages 5 & 7) with the expectation that I could help them solve the puzzles on an as-needed basis. The puzzles themselves are great and will keep your children occupied. However, they are a bit on the advanced side so, in my opinion, I think the recipient should be at least 7 years old or older.Of course, every child is different and some children under 7 may be entertained by these puzzles, but I think this is best purchased for an older crowd (e.g., 2nd grade & up).Regardless, these puzzles are entertaining and I think your child will enjoy solving them. Good luck!

Long term enjoyment
I bought this set for my 6 yr old grandson. The shapes and color of the puzzles are lovely and once removed from packaging looks intriguing - a little box of treasure. The puzzles are rather complicated but the seller emailed instructions unbidden, which I appreciated. There's also the website listed on the box offering the same instruction guide. We've been working the puzzles together 1 at a time, first following directions for assembly and then trying to remember the steps. It's challenging but something we can do together, different than other toys. I like it.

Reasons why I didn't quite like it: - packaging
Reasons why I didn't quite like it:- packaging. I was planning to gift this for someone's birthday & thankfully I didn't ship it directly or have it gift wrapped. The items were thrown in a brown carton box & didn't have a box of its own. Not in a presentable manner as a gift. Also, I now have to keep the pieces in a container.I noticed most of the reviews were by people that were sent a free item to test & review. I didn't notice anyone mention packaging when I bought it & ended up just using it for ourself - its too much of a hassle to return.- I found the wood item chip color a bit from the few times I tried to solve it. Don't think it will last long without splinters.- the pieces aren't easily solvable IMHO for 6 year olds - the age I was buying it for. It took me few hours of trying to solve (fyi- since this is an IQ challenge, I'd like to think my IQ isn't below average!). So good workout for me but not sure kids are there yet. You can argue, rubik's cube is also handed to kids & some kids have the ability. I would have preferred a solution guide to be included. For those reasons & the price point, I gave a 2 star.

Cheap quality. Not worth the money.
Set made of low quality plastics. As the quality considered ,it is not worth for 2200 rupees. Don't ever buy.
