ASOLOMen's Falcon GV Hiking Boot

I've had these boots for 5 months, have given them a shot (probably 75-100 miles), and they're not great. Complaints:1) I have narrow feet, but these boots are exceptionally narrow and pinch my feet.2) Somehow, they also let my heel slip. There is very little ankle support due to the lacing pattern and the flexible upper.3) The sole is relatively tall and narrow. Paired with the insecure fit, these are roll your ankle boots.

Comfortable and lots of support.

This is my second set of Falcons and I love them. The waterproofing started to give out on my first pair after a couple hundred miles, but they wrecked trails in the Ozarks, Rockies and Cascades with no problems. Lightweight and durable, they’re well made, fit to size and comfortable. I do replace insoles every so often, but otherwise, they lasted about what I expected. Obviously, the right boot for you is the one that fits, and everyone’s feet respond differently, but I’m definitely an Asolo fan.

I have a pair of the Fugitive boot, and have always been impressed with the construction, fit, and durability of that Asolo product. I was looking for a lighter weight hiker, and this one is just perfect. Very lightweight, and comfortable right out of the box.
