I ordered this Royal & Langnickel 48-Piece All Media Easel Artist Set for my daughter as a birthday gift. I receive the set in just a few days. When I received the set, I unpacked it from the shipping box and repacked the Royal & Langnickel 48-Piece set and sent it off to my daughter without opening it to take a peek. My daughter called me when she received it and said this was one of the best gifts she had ever received... Several weeks later I stopped and visited with my daughter and her family. My daughter brought out the set and showed it to me, she was so happy and proud. When I finally took the time to look at it, I could not believe what I was seeing. The set is not a cheap thrown together piece of crap! The Wood Easel is very well made and very ridged. Inside everything had its parking place. Very neat. My daughter is 33 years old... This set is not kid stuff... My daughter is an artist.

This is a great beginner set. Comes with lots of options to mix and paint. This is a dream set for anyone who loves to paint. You get water colors, acrylic and oil paints.This set is good for kids and adults. The case is wood turns into an easel very easy to use and sturdy. Great quality and workmanship. This was a birthday gift I purchased early for my teen that is very artistic and wants to explore art a little more. I'm excited to her to see what she does and how well she likes the set.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my fiance, who has wanted to get back into painting on a regular basis because it seemed like the best value for the variety of supplies it came with. He absolutely loved it. The box is sturdy and folds up to a pretty compactly and the paints (watercolor and oil) and paintbrushes seem to be pretty decent quality (not top of the line, but definitely a few steps up from beginner supplies). I also ended up buying him a set of acrylic paints in tubes to round out the set to paints. The plastic paint dish is a little small (it only holds six colors), so I may buy him another one (about a dollar at Walmart) so he can have more colors mixed at one time. This will end up being a nice case for art supplies with extra room to store dry, unfinished paintings. I'd definitely recommend this tabletop easel/art supply set for any beginner-intermediate artist.

On the good side, this was very affordable and I loved that it can be carried and stored very easily. I also appreciated the amount of materials it came with, supposedly to make one able to beginning painting the moment this box arrives at your door. The bad side is when I opened the box the paints and pieces were EVERYWHERE. The paints don't stay put when you travel with your box by using the handle. I'm sure it's fine though if you keep it flat and just carry it with two hands. The ugly, and this is very ugly - the paints are horrible quality. I started with the acrylics which mixed okay but when I began to apply did not stick to the board. It was nearly transparent and when you tried to go over the transparent spot with more paint it simply gooped up and made it even more transparent. It was bizarre! I've been painting all my life and never seen this before. The brush started to get sticky VERY quickly, feeling like the paint was starting to dry prematurely. But when I go back to the paint half an hour later it's still the same stickiness. Finally, and this can be either bad or ugly, after testing different colors on different parts of the board with the same brush for awhile I went to clean the brush thoroughly to put it away and it disassembled itself in the water. I looked and found they had used something akin to ELMERS to glue the brush parts together. I put the pieces back together while went and sure enough the goo that oozed out the tops and sides looked identical to when you glue something with Elmers. Also, one brush came with the bristles stuck together at the ends and now I suspect its that school type glue that got on the ends and dried. Overall this is salvageable as the box IS handy, it came with lots of other usable items, and I can buy new paints and brushes. But I certainly would never buy this as a gift.

I purchased this for myself. I am an artist. I love to work with multiple forms of paint, so this kit was an incredible choice. It comes with 12 tubes of each type of paint. It has Acrylic, Oil, and watercolor. You also receive a variety of paint brushes, a watercolor paper pad and a pallet. One thing I really enjoy about this set is that the wooden case becomes a table top easel. That has been really useful to me for painting as well as drawing. I even set it on my lap while I sketch at times. This is a great kit for seasoned artists as well as new artists. I believe in encouraging people to try a variety of different media. I allowed my kids to paint with me using this set and they really had fun becoming familiar with all of the different types of paint. You would really want to supervise very young children using this because oil paint does stain. But, for older children with an interest in art, this would be an incredible gift. I love that I got so many products for one low price. This is a great collection.

Nice and heavy-duty, Not just acrylic paint like I thought, but has watercolor and oil paint. The artist can really get the best of all worlds. The paint brushes look to be a very nice quality as well; they won't fall apart or shed when using them. Great gift for anyone wanting to be creative or even for yourself!!As For delivery - A+

I bought this for a gift. Arrived promptly. Exactly as shown. I don't know about the durability as it's a gift for my sister.

I love to buy in Amazon, however some time to time I get packages like this one. Everything inside was scramble and one of the parts was broken, so I am not sure if I will be able to assembly anymore. All the little tubes with the paint were floating around the box and one of the caps was missing. Another thing is that one of the paint tubes had an small hole on it and when I tried to use it I found it was dry.

For the beginner, especially a child or teenager, but for anyone really who wants to give art a try.

Ordentlich , schnell, gut verpackt, ein gutes Produkt um mit unterschiedlichen Farben zu malen. Die Staffelei ist nicht sehr groß, aber ausreichend für DIN A4

Th entire kit more than met our expections. It was bought for my wife to start her painting again after a long break for family commitments. She loves it, there is every thing you need to be able to paint straight away. For the price it more than met our expections. Its a very comprehensive kit in a lovely quality box and in our opinion excellent value for money. Stve B.
