Some idiosyncracies. *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2019* Looks great and very quiet. Needs to run at high speeds to get a strong downdraft. Installation straightforward. Had problems with the remote control(s). I installed two of these fans to replace those old fashioned 'southern'-style fans that always seem to be installed as standard these days; I did not want to use two remote controls but found that getting the two fans to operate in tandem problematic. Out of the box, the two fans were rotating in opposite directions, so finding that special angle where only one fan would respond to the remote control was tough (ended up hiding behind a wall). Then I found that getting the two fans to operate at the same speed was impossible. This issue was not resolved and not important enough to us to pursue - it is as if a given speed is different for each fan. The look is modern, but it does what it’s supposed to do - blend in and move a lot of air, QUIETLY. Love it and installed it myself (62 y.o. female). The only negative is how long it took to arrive. Even though it said it was in stock when I ordered it, it was not, and I waited about 4-6 weeks. I got this because it reminds me of a wind turbine. You can’t hear the motor, just the quiet moving of air. Maybe at the highest speed you have to listen very close to hear any motor sound, and normally it’s completely unnoticeable. Solid construction, simple assembly, and moves a lot of air.
