Wet Cat Food, Meal or No Deal with Chicken and Beef Pate, 5.5oz Can, Pack of 8

My vet has been trying to get me for a number of years to switch to grain-free for Sophie. She was a Fancy Feast girl but as she has gotten into her mid-teens her health is on the decline. But I could never find a grain-free she would not run away from (meaning, that she would eat). And then in the span of a week two different friends, who do not know each other, said their vet recommended this brand of "hydrating" pate and behold! Sophie loves it. I tried a few different flavors and this is her favorite. I successfully switched her to it and now it is her main food. I do think it is better for her and I know her vet will be pleased. AND... as for me. The smell is not awful. The quality seems good. I found a lid that works to keep it fresh in the fridge. Opening the can is a bit difficult for me with my arthritis but I can do it.

Just bought this food for my CKD cat. He tried it for the first time today and he loved it. He didn’t like the name brand types of prescription foods so decided to give this brand a try . So glad I did. Will continue feeding this as long as he continues eating . He needs the extra moisture and this works. Smell is good also. Like that the ingredients are non GMO can’t get that in regular food.

Great food. Good for hydration and excellent ingredients.

Very well trusted product. I love the high moisture content and the quality ingredients. My kitties, however, got bored with it. So I have to alternate it with other canned foods wish it wasn’t quite so expensive

This is a really great option for cats who like a smooth mousse/puréed texture. It’s like a flan/gelatin texture out of the can. My cat can be really picky about texture (she only really likes the Tiki Cat mousse line), but this is definitely one of her favorites! I just wish it didn’t have any tuna or natural flavors because I try to avoid fish flavors.

I have 4 cats. They all absolutely love this food! I’ve noticed that when they eat this brand, their poo does not smell as bad. There is a lot of fluid in this recipe and minimal fillers - a good thing - so the consistency is a little different than the average canned cat food. It is a true pate with no chunks. Definitely a winner with all 4 of my finicky felines!

It's the only one of this brand my cats did NOT like. I don't know what's different in it, but overall it just looked too much like gelatin and not much substance. I had to mix it with a can of sardines and they ate it then, but for $3 a can + tax this should NOT be happening. I will stay away from their patee from now on. I haven't tried them all but if this is how they are all fluffed up watery gelatin, I am sure other cat owners will say something too. Seems to be too watered down and just not too flavorful overall... With 3 cats it comes out to almost $10 a meal that they don't even like and I had to enhance with 2 cans of sardines for them to eat it...Very surprised by this one...

My cat loves this, it's mostly water and that's great for hydration. Also low calorie, good for my chunky senior cat.
