Husband really loves this tool. Does a great job, loves the features. Battery life is more than needed for our large yard. Only drawback is quite heavy.

If you are looking for a weed whacker that doesn't require gas, is lightweight, easy to load, and has long run and fast charge times this is the way to go.

Much more powerful than all my corded electric ones and almost as powerful as my big gas brush cutter, but this one is much lighter. I use it with a 5ah battery, but the 2.5ah battery would make it even lighter. Highly recommend!

The string trimmer has plenty of power and starts with a press of a button and squeeze of a trigger. The downside is the length of the shaft. Also, I use a high-capacity battery from an Ego snow blower which makes it a bit on the heavy side. However, after a few minutes of use, I got used to the size and weight and was easily clearing weeds from the back yard. Now I need to develop a touch for the power trigger which seems to have little tactile feedback for adjusting the speed.

I have a small trimmer for quick work and a large commercial trimmer with blades for heavy work. I needed something in between and quick to use without the smell and messiness of a gas unit.Works great. Good double string line for wide cut, and fairly well balanced.It’s not really lightweight , especially with the weight of the batteries. If I had one want , Id say a shoulder strap would help.I also have a Blower and chainsaw which take same batteries , so it was a easy transition battery wise.
