FoxFarmHappy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer 4-3-4, 4-Lb. Bag

My Japanese Maple is about 6 ft tall with a 10-12 foot diameter. Been living here (in NJ) 8 years and each spring the leaves bloom red and most turn green by the summer. I've used 'regular' plant food in the past. I read articles that said may Japanese Maples are hybrid from a green leafed variety, but decided to find a tree specific fertilizer. I bought my Happy Frog fertilizer the middle of September, at the end of the growing season, so only applied a light feeding. Within a week the leaves turned the beautiful dark red. I initially had low expectations, and was thrilled at how quickly the leaves reddened up.

Helped to my Japanese Maple Last year, which is had some boldness and some stains on the leaves, I was just followed instructions on the package and guess what, this year we were amazed by results, it was a total new tree. Excellent Product. Highly recommended

It arrived very late, but saved my tree. I have a maple Japanese tree that was in very bad shape and I was ready to replace. I got this product late and I was ready to return, but I gave a try and I am not happy. The tree is looking much better and I will continue to use it once a month.Thank you.

The leaves of my Jap. Maple tree tuned a uniform crimson, really beautiful. The leaves in the fall always used to be dark red and brown.
