Those feeders have just a tiny slot for birds like Goldfinch. Others can't get to them except destructo the squirrel. Squirrel guard above seems to work if hanging on wire. **Q: Does it come with seed** A: No. It does not. You can buy various types of seed (depending on the types of birds you have in your area) through Amazon.
