Love it still after using it for a while
Love it still after using it for a while, especially the top sunglasses pocket. Really wish it had side pockets as that is what this backpack needed to be 5 stars.

Love it but wish it had an outside pocket to hold a drink...
Other than that I have nothing bad to say about it; and there is plenty good about it but it has all been said over and over here. If you are thinking about buying this I'd say get it!

KEEP THIS THING AWAY FROM CEMENT, BRICK WALLS, AND ROUGH SURFACES IN GENERAL.
I got this backpack as a gift for my birthday. I thought this backpack would last me a really long time. The backpacks's material is sturdy, which is good. Also, it's very, very stylish. I started using it my junior year of high school (the only thing I use the backpack for). It was great since it accommodated all of my school supplies, and I also received lots of compliments, even from my teacher.I encountered my first problem when I turned it across my torso to reach the small pocket where my keys were. When I did that, the leather bottom touched the surface of the brick wall near the gate of my house. It tore a little piece of the leather bottom of the backpack. It wasn't a big deal at first, but the leather bottom began to slowly peel away. The next time it tore on me was when I was sitting down on a cement slab waiting for my bus. I didn't realize until I got on the bus that even more of the leather was peeled away. Eventually, it began to dangle and looked unattractive. Rough surfaces, such brick walls and cement slabs are this backpacks KRYPTONITE. Herschel should have gone with a stronger leather material at the bottom, like Jansport's Right Pack.Other than the leather peeling off, the laptop pouch it a bit small. It fits tight on my HP envy dv6-7210us. The pocket is really meant for smaller laptops, such as 13 inch macbooks, ultrabooks, and notebooks. It's definitely not worth the 70 dollars. I'm actually thinking about buying Jansports Right Pack. A friend of mine has it and it seems sturdier and more rugged (that's including the bottom leather part). Also, the reviews on that backpack ranges from all different age groups, so the credibility of the product is definitely there. One review claimed they used it for 16+ years, and another claimed to have used theirs for 19+ years. In conclusion, just go with Jansport's Right Pack. Jansport is a household name and it will definitely last longer than Herschel's Pop Quiz.
