LeSportsac Classic Large Weekender

I'm a male and I was looking for a multipurpose travel bag that can serve as a piece of luggage and/or a carry-on. I have yet to travel with it, but it seems like it would fit the bill size wise either way. It can also serve as a duffel bag for the gym or as "weekender" as it is dubbed (depending on how much you pack, this may be more like a "day tripper" for some and perhaps the Extra Large size would be more sufficient for longer trips?). It looks like it can comfortably hold about two changes of clothes, a pair of shoes and some toiletry items. The only thing that keeps this bag from absolute perfection is the lack of interior compartments or pockets.The price point seems rather steep for a nylon bag, but the quality appears to warrant it and since the brand has a long history, they are certainly doing something right!I want to point out that the images for the Zinc bag in particular are a bit deceptive. Perhaps it is my eyes or my computer, but in the photos the color Zinc appears to have a greenish hue (almost olive/military green) and the straps and trim look brown. In actuality, the entire bag and trim are a solid gunmetal gray. Very monochromatic and stylish for either a man or woman. This is one of the few LeSportsac bags that you could consider unisex since it's not a wild print and there's not anything inherently feminine about the style of bag in general.The bag arrived folded up in a plastic unpadded envelope bag and was very compact. I wasn't wild about the packaging as the Weekender and the handy accessory pouch/cosmetic case that comes with it were both heavily creased and wrinkled. You would hope that for the money, they would ship it in a box, but I digress...All in all, a good purchase!

This bag is awesome for travel. I recently used it on my trip to Japan as a carry on bag for the plane ride. It worked out perfectly because it is small enough to fit under the seat in front of me but big enough to carry everything I need for the long ride. It can carry an ipad, a light jacket, a sweater, a scarf, snacks AND the items I normally keep in a purse. With pockets on every side, I am able to have my passport and plane ticket handy as well as cash, so I don't have to dig for it.I also used it as an overnight bag when I traveled between cities on the train during our tour of Japan. It worked great because I could fit my pajamas, toiletries, ipad and a change of clothes in it. The multiple handles make it easy to hook onto my suitcase handle so I can pull it around instead of lugging it on my shoulder. It is lightweight and can be flattened down to nothing if you need to pack it in your suitcase when not in use.And most importantly, I adore the pattern on it. I often find the LeSportsac patterns dowdy or too abstract. But this was right up my alley because who can pass up tropical drinks and flamingoes?

I did a lot of research for weekender bags before purchasing this bag. I wanted something lightweight with a wide base. I was leaning towards a Hersel duffle to look like a trendy hipster. But, if you look at their bags, the strap hardware is made of plastic. That's lame. Plastic = squeaky and broken straps.When I first received the LeSportsac bag, it looked so small folded up. When you open it up and start filling up the bag, it has a ton of space. I like that it can be easily folded up as well...I'll be stuffing this into my backpack on a trip to Italy as a secondary bag for new purchases.

This bag is perfect for an overnight stay - it fits plenty of clothes, shoes, and girly things that I need. It can be squished to fit any overhead bin or under the seat in front of you, ha ha. It has plenty of outside pockets, so my only criticism would be the lack of inside pockets.The nylon material is excellent - it keeps the bag lightweight and it can be easily washed in the machine.I've been a LeSportsac fan for over 20 years and when they started selling on Amazon, I was thrilled at the variety of sizes and colors that are not in the stores.

This my favorite tote bag! I have purchased the bag for 30 years. It is used daily. I am a Flight Attendant. I use it for work ,pleasure travel,and it was my daughters diper bag ( black ,my husband did not mind carrying it), it is water resistant, durable and it rolls up small for storage or transport . I purchase at least 1 per year. I just purchased 6 bags because It seems that LeSportsac is no longer making the Large Black Weekender. I just love the bag and always enjoy using it.

I love these bags so much that each person in my family has one. I use it on short trips like a weekend away, but I've also taken to using it for my kids on longer kids - I put these bags inside a suitcase and when we get where we are doing the chaos per kid is a little more manageable.

I ended up not loving this as much as others. One can buy equivalent bags that allow more things to be packed an still fit in the over head luggage bins. It is light those and does the job and is a cute bag.

Schlampig hoch drei. Diese Firma und das Verhalten der Geschäftsführerin Lisa Abe sind eine absolute Frechheit.Am 17. Oktober 2014 bestellte ich den Artikel Weekender mit Print"Rose Gold Foil Snake" um EUR 193,80 (es handelt sich um eine sehr einfach Sporttasche). Anfang November 2014, nachdem weder eine Tasche noch sonst etwas kam, schrieb ich dieser Firma, was mit meiner Bestellung los sei. Ich bekam keine Antwort. So kontaktierte ich diese Firma erneut. Die Geschäftsführerin Lisa Abe verwendete in ihrem E-Mail Worte wie "wie gesagt...". Offensichtlich hatte diese Frau Abe ein Durcheinander, denn sie hatte das Gefühl mir schon geantwortet zu haben, was aber definitiv nicht der Fall war. Des Weiteren teilt sie mit die Ware ordnungsgemäss versendet zu haben. Sie hätte aber weder eine Sendenummer noch einen Ablieferungsbeleg, nachdem ich versuchte diese bei ihr anzufordern um klarzustellen, dass die Lieferung definitiv nicht erfolgte. Wer bitte glaubt eine Firma versendet Waren ohne die Sendenummer im System zu haben bzw. zu verwalten? Nach wiederholten Versuchen eine Ablieferungsnachweis zu erhalten, bekam ich erst sehr merkwürdige Antworten, später hielt Frau Abe von der Firma LeSportsac es dann nicht mehr für notwendig darauf einzugehen bzw. zu antworten. Es waren mittlerweile 2-3 Wochen vergangen und ich wollte definitiv keine Ware/Austausch mehr von dieser Firma und habe dies auch mitgeteilt. Wer würde von so einer Firma noch etwas wollen? Merkwürdigerweise fragte sie wieder und wieder ob ich die erste Lieferung schon erhalten habe (was hat diese Frau für ein Chaos?) und ich solle diese retournieren, falls ich diese noch bekäme. Die Ware wurde dann im November 2014 ohne meine Erlaubnis an meine Lieferadresse versendet (ein Paketservice, der die Ware nicht automatisch retourniert, wenn man die Ware nicht abholt. Die Ware bleibt dort liegen). Ich wollte diesen Fall klären, aber Frau Abe hat ab diesem Zeitpunkt überhaupt keine Antwort mehr gegeben, weder mir noch direkt an Amazon. Auch Amazon hat diese Firma angeschrieben, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Ich wollte verhindern dass ich die Tasche bezahlen muss obwohl ich sie gar nicht mehr wollte, nicht erhielt und diese vom Paketservice nicht automatisch retourniert wird (ich musste mich also selber darum kümmern, sonst wurde mir der Betrag abgebucht ohne dass ich die Tasche je gesehen hab). Das letzte was Frau Abe von der Firma LeSportbag zuvor dreist geschrieben hat war folgendes: Ich würde das Geld erst zurückerhalten wenn ich die Tasche retournieren würde. Sie hat dann nicht einmal mehr darauf geantwortet als ich einen Retourenschein anforderte (obwohl ich die Ware gar nicht hatte). Schlussendlich wurde von Amazon ein A-Z-Antrag gestellt und dieser wurde dann auch eingewilligt. Dies erfolgte am 24.11.2014.Unglaublich aber wahr, habe ich heute (2.12.2014) von Frau Abe (Firma Lesportsac) plötzlich aus dem nichts folgende Message erhalten:"Ich habe mit DHL gesprochen und ich selbst kann das Paket nicht zurück holen, da es Ihnen "zugestellt" wurde. Das Paket sein an Ihren Wunschort " geliefert worden. Der Wunschort sei ein Hr. Stefan Kuschel, Behring Str. 3 in Lindau. Es befindet sich nicht in einer Packstation und hat sich laut DHL auch nie dort befunden.-"Ich dachte mir nur was redet diese verwirrte Frau Abe von der Firma LeSportsac??? Zur Information ich bin nicht Stefan Kuscheln sondern eine Kundin namens Angelika. Meine ehemalige Bestellung/Lieferung hat absolut nichts mit einem Stefan Kuschel zu tun (wer ist das?). Der Paketservice hat bestätigt, dass die Ware ankam und dort liegen bleibt, bis sich Frau Abe darum kümmert, eine Retoure zu veranlassen.Ich hatte schon so viele Bestellungen an den Paketservice. Es lief immer reibungslos und ich war mit allen bisherigen Lieferungen hoch zufrieden und glücklich.Es ist eine absolute Frechheit es mit so einer inkompetenten Person (Frau Lisa Abe von der Firma LeSportsac) zu tun zu haben. Diese Frau muss einen Saustall beieinanderhaben dass es nur so rauscht.Sie ist unfreundlich und arrogant. Sie ignorierte Anfragen von mir und Amazon. Als ich sie per E-Mail kontaktierte, kamen sogar Meldungen, dass ihr Postfach voll sei. Sie schreibt, wenn sie einmal etwas schreibt völlig unpassende Dinge.Der Paketservice hat mich auch telefonische mitgeteilt, dass die Verpackung der Ware nur noch zu Wünschen übrigliess, nämlich in einem schlampigen, zerfledderten, dünnen Karton mit Löchern (und das bei einem Produkt von EUR 193,80).An Frau Abe/Firma LeSportsac: Frau Abe, wir haben heute den 2.12.2014 und der Betrag von EUR 193,80 wurde längst auf meiner KK wieder gutgeschrieben, weil schon längst der A-Z Auftrag genehmigt wurde, weil sie es nie für nötig empfunden haben, oder weil sie zu inkompetent/verwirrt waren um Antwort zu geben!Ich habe die Ware schon längst nicht mehr gewollt und sie haben sie trotzdem gesendet. Jetzt müssen sie sich selbst um die Retoure kümmern. Das sehe ich, Amazon und der Paketservice so! Ich habe die bestellte Ware noch nie in den Händen gehabt und ein Stefan Kuscheln ist mir (Angelika M.) und auch dem Paketservice völlig unbekannt! Sie müssen die Ware selbst beim Paketservice abholen.Ich wünsche keinen weiteren Kontakt von Ihnen. Sie haben heute auch eine message von Amazon erhalten mich nicht mehr zu kontaktieren, da der Fall bereits abgeschlossen ist.

Arrived on time as originally estimated. Bought it as a travel bag for an upcoming trip, and it was great that the travel pouch came with it, as well. I have had other LeSportsac bags in the past that have been extremely durable and don't disappoint. This particular pricing was much better than any of the online stores or department stores, so I'm really glad to have found it!

I was looking for a bag to put all my gym staff, including swimming suite, big towel, etc., and yet be appropriate and good looking enough to take it to work in a city's downtown. I found this one at The Bay and immediately liked it. Amazon, however, offered a better price for it. I made an order and it arrived very soon. I really love my bag! It's very comfortable, durable, and looks great (well, this is LeSportsac!).

The bag is very large and practical. A little bit expensive, but I don't regret buying it.
