Amazing value for the price. Also the best loght for a 3x3 tent that I have found. The footprint fills the space perfectly and gives great light density everywhere. The only issue I am having is that it doesn't turn on when my loght timer triggers in the morning. Im not sure if it is a user issue and I need to tweak a setting or something, and its not a huge deal as I just need to remember to turn it on when I wake up, but it does put my grow at risk if I forget, which is troubling.Again though, I will chalk this up to being my issue and not the product. It was shipped fast, packed really well, and is a high quality light, especially for the price. Also a small US based business, which I love supporting. Warranty is also amazing.At 25% power and a foot farther away, it is providing the same PPFD that my 100w light was before, and it has the juice to get fat flowers later down the road.If you're looking for a 3x3 light, this is it.

I purchased this 400w light for my new 4x8 space. I originally had a HLG 600r Spec in a 4x4.I am now using both the HLG on one side and the Sonofarm 4000 on the opposite side of a 4x8.Like most of you reading this, I wanted to see how this light compares to the more expensive 600r spec.How it stacks up Vs the HLGSee pictures:the HLG are above the pots, the Sonofarm is set up on the empty side. Sonofarm uses more red in their spectrum but there’s quite a bit of power there, the Sonofarm runs quite a bit warmer then the HLG but comparable to some of the other lights I’ve used in the past.I can lay my hand down on any part of the HLG, this one is quite a bit warmer then that but I feel easily manageable adding a fan pointed at the drivers.Overall I am pleased I saved a little money and tried this light out. With a 5 year warranty and American Made I feel good about it. Hope this helps someone make a easier choice.

The price is very good, the coverage great. I want to buy American. Just got it hung and fired up. Definitely heavy duty cooling plate and runs cool. The coverage area is what sold me. Went to 12/12 and will see how she does.I have 2 new viper xs2000 beside it. Both have LM301b LEDs, been waiting to try them. Been using SMD281.BUY AMERICAN!!! SUPPORT YOUR CITIZENS.Completed grow and was happy with results. Had a 5x5 grow, corner and edge plants grew just as good so the coverage is legit. Price is a steal. It has a slight yellow tint which I wasn't sure of at first but no worries on plants.6/25/25. Light is running right alongside a Spider farmer Evo for 2 grows and the Pro 400 is just as good. At today's prices, Soho is$ 130.00 cheaper. Buys a lot of nutes

I researched lights and bought a few for my bonsai trees in the winter time ( none were satisfying). I stumbled onto this company offering lights that have the same features and components of other great high dollar lights for a fraction of the price. I reached out with a question and it was responded to almost instantly. That made me look further into these lighting components and company. After plenty of research I bought the pro 4000 they offer. It is far more powerful than I will ever need!! the footprint is the same or better than other lights. This light should last my entire life! I will definitely be trimming my bonsai more frequently and may never move them back to the window as I have just purchased the sun.*this item was shipped and recieved way faster then Amazon's window. The personal note from the manufacturer was a very nice surprise made me feel confident that if I ever have an issue they won't be hard to get a hold of, it contained a personal phone number!!! My bonsai trees already thank you and can't wait to see what new kinds I will get now that I have this giant light! So far I am more than glad I took a chance on a new company. Hats off guys. great everything so far. Way way way more then I needed but I am in awe.

Just received my light 2 days early . Light was packaged excellent . Plenty of padding . Initial inspection it rivals the spider farmer light I bought a few months ago . Pretty much the same light with a couple differences like the heat sink thickness and diode placement . The drivers are a tiny bit bigger . But there both samsung diodes with mean well drivers which was a big deal as far as what I was looking for. After turning the light on it Bright as F. Just as bright at my other light . Very excited about it overall . Also very happy to help out a small business especially during these times . Nice hand written note from the owner making it feel like a personal purchase . So as far as I’m concerned the value of this light is incredible. Wish I had found sonofarm before I bought my SF. But hey , if I can help anyone else out and save them a few bucks so be it . I’ll do a follow up in a couple months to let you guys know the results .

Can't beat the value in this light, I will say if you are trying to decide between getting one 4000 or two 2000's, I would go with two 2000's or even 4 1000's, to have a little more control over where the light overlaps in the middle. Pretty significant hot spot in the middle of the 4000 with how close together all the boards are. I currently have this light in the middle of a room lighting 4 autos, I think if it was hung in a reflective tent some of that hotspot would be minimized and I would get more light on the edges of the plants. All that being said I'm happy with the light and happy to help support a small upcoming business here at home.

The light is awesome it works well in a 5x5 had it 4 months so far If your on a budget and want a good light with a good dimmer this is the one.its very bright and don't get very hot at all it gets a lil warm on full power nothing crazy though.it has same parts as more expensive lights like spiderfarmer
