Blades on switch were a bit thinner so had to squeeze connectors with needle nose to tighten them up. Also, the old Lucas switch was not completely round. It had a flat area that is used as a key when inserting the switch through the mounting dash plate. The new switch would not go through without enlarging the dash plate slightly. Luckily the dash plate is thin metal, and using a step down drill bit worked fine to enlarge the hole.
