This tape has to overlap on itself to work. I used it to wrap connections. You need to overlap about 50%. The tape has no glue that you can feel to the touch. It gets its bound when the tape is stretched and than after a several days the tape will become infused to itself as if it were one piece of tape. Hope this helps you out. I can't see how you could wrap it around the mouse.
