What I have discovered is that once you're done using it you need ton taken it off the wall or it will fall off on its own in about 12 hours. **Q: What is the center to center of the suction cups?** A: 8 3/8 inches **Q: If you twist or hang will it move** A: Its not supposed to be used like that. Mine is on slightly textured tile and it is very sturdy to use to balance yourself while putting a leg up to shave.
