Q: Do you sell 1/2-length links perhaps? With all of the links, the collar's just a bit too big. But with a link removed, it's just a bit too snug.

While they do not sell 1/2 links to my knowledge, our trainer just recommended using a zip tie through the chain just below the O-ring to adjust for a 1/2 size.

Q: How can i tell if i got a fake one? the finish quality on the one i received looks doesn’t look legit to me.

The finish on the collar I received through Amazon had a top-notch finish on it, and looked completely legit. If you've got a sketchy one, I'd return it because you deserve to be satisfied on your purchase.

No, it won’t stain the dog’s fur.

Q: At the highest point of our dog's neck, it's 14 inches. Should we order the small with extra links or the large and take out links?

I would order a large and take out links. Our lab was 10 months at the time and knew she would get bigger. So we got a large, removed a few links and then added them back as she grew. She is 75 pounds now with a 20 inch neck. It works great. Hope this helps!
