Top notch for streamer tippet, much much cheaper (still a bit pricey)
I use about 5ft of this as a straight line on my 6wt intermediate sink. I fish rocks and brush and this stuff holds up much better than red label. I fished all night last night without a single nick in the line. Unbelievable if you saw the rip rap I usually fish. Easily strong enough for 10lbs wiper and Im absolutely certain this would handle fish much larger (8lbs test). Knot strength is excellent, abrasion protection is by far the best Ive seen, casts very well into a stiff wind and makes you look super good looking and ultra cool to both men and women! If you have problems with line fray and breakage from fishing structure, this line is for you. Its a bit more expensive than your average fluoro, but in my opinion its totally worth it. I think Im going to look into the much smaller test to use as tippet when nymphing or using a 9ft+ leader for trout.

High quality but pricey fluoro.
I’ve used this fluoro since its inception. I only use it in gin-clear water, as it costs far too much to use regularly. My go to lines for everyday use are Big Game mono and Fluoro but when I fish crystal clear rocky highland reservoirs, I like Seaguar for its invisibility abrasion resistance and stretch characteristics.

SUPER TOUGH FLUOROCARBON
I’ve been running Seaguar AbrazX for a while now as my main fluorocarbon on several setups, and it’s proven itself to be one of the toughest lines I’ve used, especially when fishing around cover. The biggest thing that stands out to me with AbrazX is the abrasion resistance. I fish around rocks, docks, and wood a lot, and this line holds up really well without fraying nearly as fast as some other fluorocarbons I’ve tried. One thing I really like about AbrazX is the strength and reliability. I’ve got confidence when setting the hook or pulling fish out of heavier cover because the knot strength has been very solid for me. As long as I tie clean knots and take my time, I don’t have many break-offs unless the line has taken some real abuse. Another thing I’ve noticed is that it casts smoother than a lot of heavier-duty fluorocarbons. Some tough lines can feel stiff, but AbrazX stays pretty manageable on both spinning and baitcasting setups. It’s sensitive too, so I can feel bottom composition changes and subtle bites pretty easily, especially when dragging jigs or working Texas rigs. Fluorocarbon like this also sinks faster than mono and stays nearly invisible underwater, which helps with more natural presentations. That said, it’s definitely more of a heavy-duty fluorocarbon compared to softer options. It can have a little more memory than finesse-focused lines, especially in colder weather, so line conditioner can help if you want it performing at its best. It’s also not the cheapest fluorocarbon out there, but for the durability and performance, I think it’s worth the extra money. Overall, Seaguar AbrazX has been extremely dependable for me when fishing around structure and heavier cover. It gives me confidence when I’m throwing jigs, Texas rigs, or anything where the fish might try to wrap me up in something. It’s tough, sensitive, and reliable, and it’s earned a spot on several of my rods.

Perfect! It works great for my fishing needs. Great line quality. It is invisible in the water. And doesn't have line memory. I'll be buying more!!
