Great item for cooking fish, pizza, chicken, etc. Just be careful flipping it over (which is the best way to have a clean surface to cook on). This is the second Lava Cooking stone that I've had and it stays on the grill at all times. The last one broke from some tough use but I still used the pieces to cook on until they got too small. I plan on being a bit more gentle with this one but they do a great job of indirect heat and searing food.
