Great kit to add life to your dryer

all the parts fit however, it was very cheaply made thin plastic. The hole is not drilled for the thermostat(I had to drill it out, half-inch bit) plastic bearings early fit into the slot. probably 1/2 the cost of OEM.

We bought this after the small rectangular sliders broke off my 10+ year old dryer. It was a horrendous sound and you could hear it throughout the house (even in the backyard!) Replacing this was easy, despite the belt needing two people to install. We replaced all the things that came with the pack even if they didn't need it -- better safe than sorry.

After 17 years my dryer started shaking the house.With this kit I had it running like new in 20 minutes.

If your dryer is squeaking or squealing, it is most likely the drum support bearing in the back of the barrel. I bought this kit which included the bearing. As you can see in the photos, the new white plastic bearing is what is included in the kit. It melted within two days as you can see in the other photo. It is a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY. Order an OEM kit like I did the second time around. It is made out of a completely different material.

If you're ordering this with the hopes of using the dryer bearing, don't. It's Junk. This was after <10 cycles. Absolutely destroyed. I ordered a genuine part and I wish I took a photo before install. It's a much stronger material. The dryer slides could be stringers too, already showing signs of wear.Everything else has worked fine so far.
