However the tabs that move to accommodate your mirror are the bottom tabs. Because of this if you existing mirror is wider than the main mirror on this you do not get the full range of adjustment for the child mirror. The tabs that move should be the tabs in the back so that the bottom of the main mirror is always at the bottom of your existing mirror no matter how wide your existing mirror is allowing you to have full range of adjustment for the child mirror.Due to this design issue I rated it 3 stars.I do have to say it feels pretty snug in my mirror considering I have a pretty thick existing mirror. I do wish that the child mirror didn't make my child look so tiny in the mirror sometimes it's really hard to tell if she is sleeping or awake however it does allow me to see her.I ended up flipping the whole unit upside down because the child mirror hung so far below my existing mirror. It appears to work just the same and feels just as snug on my mirror it just allows me to have better view out my windshield because the child mirror is not in the way of my view down below. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better visibility and easy to install, not perfect *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2016* The mirror does give more visibility which would likely be more helpful if I drove something larger than a sedan. I like the fact I don't have to try and attach a child's mirror (I've tried 3 and they all have either fallen off quickly or blocked my view of the road) and that the one that is attached doesn't get in the way of the view of the road. It would be nicer if the child view mirror increased the size of the image (kind of like shaving mirrors do) because it is a very tiny view and I like to be able to tell if my toddler is sleeping, or awake and I can barely see his eyes. Also, with the mirror on I am unable to switch to "night" mirror setting since the mirror increases the height of my rear view mirror by about 3/8". Not an issue where I live during the summer, but will be an issue for 6+ months out of the year when it gets dark early. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A clear view from this mirror! *by L***U on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2016* This is a lightweight mirror with surprising clarity when viewing through the mirrors. The main mirror increased the rear view angle by an estimated 25%, the small mirror increased the rear view by 60% over the original mirror.The attaching points on this mirror provide a secure mounting to the original mirror. The small mirror is easily adjustable and will allow you to monitor your backseat, or in our case, the bed of our pickup. I was satisfied with the quality of construction and the design.
