Typical Ban Dai Quality (Good Quality) and highly poseable and strong.
This is my first Action Base. As long as the screw on it is tightened very tight, it can hold anything. It was able to hold up my Full Armor Unicorn Gundam in any pose I'd like, and that kit is huge and weighs a lot. This action base also works for High Grades (1/144). It is highly adjustable, and you can get it to extend far into the air. You can also adjust it to have many different angles. As with all recent Ban Dai products, the injection molding is flawless and the pieces all snap together easily. You do not need glue!

Best Action Base for Master Grades!!!!
So, I’ve been trying to find a sturdy Action Base for my Sinanju OVA since it is a heavy MG Gundam. My Action Base 4 wasn’t able to hold it at all. Long story-short, someone on reddit recommended the Action Base 1 since it was made specifically for MGs, which I didn’t know since I just recently gotten into gunpla, and by far, it really is the best and sturdiest stand for any MGs, even for a 2006 stand. Was able to pose the Sinanju in many different ways, and the stand was able to hold it with no problem. The Action Base 1 will definitely be my to-go for MGs from now on. It does wobble if you bump it, shake the table, etc., but it will not fall over or pop off the base, and the wobble is expected for any Action Base. I keep mine in a glass cabinet, so it’s no problem. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a sturdy base for MGs. I do not know if 1/144 scale kits fit on it, but it does come with different U-shaped holders, so maybe.

Looks good for HG, and MG, not RG
I bought this display base thinking it would fit my Bandai #03 Aile Strike Gundam 1/144, Real Grade but, alas, it doesn't. I do intend to build Master Grades in the future so I guess i bought this for future use. The plastic looks sturdy and constructing the base is fun (comes with a two screws so be ready). The base comes with a name plate and several connectors for various types of Gundam models. The base does have some cool panel lining details which makes it fit the futuristic theme of Gundam. The packaging says it will fit: 1/144 and 1/100 scale models, High Grade, Master Grade, and Real Robot Revolution. But after testing with my 1/144 real grade I do not think it will work on the Real Grade series. Some researched has shown me that the Real Grades need the Action Base 2. Please feel free to comment if you found a way to safely fit a Real Grade to Action Base 1. All in all, a good buy.

Does what it was made to do and does it well
Simple product and does what it was made to do well. The stand is really easy to put together and allows you to pose your gunpla in ways it wouldn't be able to without the stand. It's very versatile and provides many options on how you want the stand to be setup. Does an exceptional job of holding your gunpla securely in place. Only downfall is that it's only sold in Japan and takes forever to receive. I would recommend ordering them in bulk if possible.

Very helpful for action poses
Pros: very affordable, multiple spots to mount the arms, extendable main arm for height, and there's a variety of ways to combine these with another one. Cons: The support arm design is a twist and lock. Older kits may have some problems with the adapters. Basically this is a great product to display new and old gunpla kits. You can lower the support arms just enough to support your standing figure in almost any number of poses. The adapters included mount in the under side of the older models, which is fine for the most part - but depending on the design of how the legs connect to the torso you might have a problem. The MG Burning Gundam was one of the only kit that really had a problem for me. I wanted to pose it in a high kick, but the adapter limited the range of motion. Over all I'd still recommend this for your models.

so while It took a long time to come, in fact I had to call and they resent the stand, the fact that it got resent and came fast, and that the stand works great for holding my model up high and does not tip.

Just realized that they sent a wrong one. My husband already assembled it so I don't think I can still return it. Thankfully one of his gundam fits. Fault on both sides for not checking.

I purchased this stand for my Wargreymon (also Bandai) model kit. I was hesitant, because I could only find pictures of the stand being used with Gundams. However, it worked perfectly with my Wargreymon. I'll certainly be ordering more in the future!
