Reliable All-Terrain Electric Wheelchair with Large Wheels, Strong Build and Easy Operation
I recently purchased the Culver Artemis All Terrain Electric Wheelchair in black, and overall, I am very satisfied with the product. The wheel size is excellent, especially for outdoor and uneven terrain. It provides very good stability and smooth movement across different surfaces. The overall build quality feels strong and durable, making it suitable for heavy-duty and regular daily use. The folding feature is very convenient. It is easy to fold and transport, which makes it practical for travel and storage. The wheelchair is also easy to operate. The controls are simple to understand, and even seniors can use it comfortably without much difficulty. The locking system is good, but it can be improved further. A stronger and more secure wheel lock would give users additional safety and confidence, especially when parking on slight slopes or uneven surfaces. I would also like to suggest a few improvements: Tyre Pressure Information: The company should clearly mention the recommended tyre pressure (PSI) in the user manual or label it on the wheelchair. Proper tyre pressure is important for smooth performance and long-term maintenance. Stronger Back and Seat Base: The wheelchair comes with a soft cushion, which is comfortable. However, there is no hard base underneath the seat and back. It would be much better to have a strong, hard base so users can add a soft cushion on top for better support and durability. User Manual Details: The manual can include more detailed instructions about maintenance, battery care, and basic troubleshooting for better user understanding. Overall, this is a good-quality electric wheelchair with strong wheels, good stability, and easy operation. With a few improvements, it could become an excellent product in its category. Perfect for what I needed
My sister and I bought this chair for our sister who is handicapped. She lives upstairs but can only use a manual chair since her electric wheelchair she has is not capable of carrying up the steps. So she is dependent on having someone else push her and have to wait for someone to come and grab her. We got it for her birthday and gave it to her a few days ago. I was the one who put it together with “modifications” such as taking the footrests off and switching the controller to the left side since she is left handed. Test drove it as well, and it ran perfectly. I was scarred something may have been broken or had failure of any parts, but everything looked to be in good shape. I’ve seen reviews mentioning size and such. Yes, this runs smaller than “normal” adult wheelchairs. But I made sure to look at the measurements the product description says and knew what we were getting. She fits better in smaller chairs so this size was perfect! Also we were worried about the seat thinking it was a flimsy fabric from what we assumed the pictures looked like, but it’s actually quite comfortable and padded. Don’t know how to explain it but it did have some kind of thin foam in the seat to make it comfy. Foldability is pretty nice and easy. Folds like a manual chair but the handles also fold down. I will say it is a bit heavy though. Can be easy for quick lifts and such in and out of the car, but not continuous lifting and carrying. The breaks are very interesting. While the chair is on, the breaks prevent the chair from moving. You may rock a bit if you really try, but the chair stays still for the most part. I was worried because there on no manual breaks on this chair for extra security, but that’s the only thing I really didn’t like about the chair. Also, at first I highly disliked the beeping when you back up! It is so loud and can get quite annoying! Luckily I figured out how to turn it off on the controller, I just wished it told us in the manual instead of me searching the internet and trying different combinations until something worked. Other than all of that, it runs perfectly for what my family needs and my sister was really excited to have this. The battery holds really well and we hope to test this more if we get to go out for day trips. It is doing well so far and hope this will last us a long time.

The better to get around.
The foot begs are flimsy. All other parts seem ok so far.

Helping with mobility.
This is a product that really works. It is made to make mobility easier and convenient if needed. Smaller to get around in your house, can take outside on cement or pavement. My husband has taken it across our lawn we live in the country, it has enough power to do this, he is very happy with product. Only a few steps to put together. Battery lasts. Great product for the price.

HEAVY, no manual mode, horrid user manuals, company responses are nonsense
First the bad: it is 95lbs. The description says 50lbs+battery, but it is at least 75+battery. The description is wrong. There doesn't seem to be a way to put the chair in neutral/manual/free rolling mode. This is really important for safety because if the battery dies or something malfunctions, the chair needs to be pushable (they also say to pull it like luggage when folded - same problem). The user manual even says to put it in manual mode for certain problems. Support has now given me two methods of putting it in manual, the user manual has given me another, and the internet has given two more - NONE of them work / match the chair. I have also asked how to turn off the reverse beep (it's SO loud) but neither way they offered works. And the user manual? I now have THREE different versions, all from the company, and none match the chair. They're barely readable and it's more an editing problem than language. There are lines of text that start in one place then continue an inch down the page (one of them even with the page number in the middle of the text), if the line even shows up again at all. Every symbol shows up like an incompatible font. I really think they just stuck a whole document in a web translator and didn't bother to even check if the pages still lined up before publishing. Even if it was well written, it is really short and covers very little. I thought the battery would be removable to charge (and was kind of counting on getting a backup battery). It is not and only charges through the controller. For the good? I only used it once on an outing to the state fair for about 5 hours. It is surprisingly comfortable and almost intuitive to operate. I am 5'7" 190lbs sz 14, and didn't feel cramped at all. It is faster than most people walk. The turning radius is the chair itself (it will turn a circle in place). I think it would be fine on level and firm dirt, gravel, or grass but didn't try for more than broken pavement. I wouldn't trust it on an incline steeper than a standard accessibility ramp or on soft/soggy surfaces. I was really impressed with the battery life - I used it for about 5 hours, moving most of that time, and had more than half the battery life remaining.

Great for anyone
Nice chair. Easy to set up. Easy to fold. Just fold it up like a regular wheelchair with the addition of being able to fold down the backrest to make it even smaller. The ability to lift the arms for side entry also allows for a better and safer entry for the elderly. Being able to change speed as well. Also having audible sounds like the horn, voice when reversing and having the SOS button as well. The audibles can be turned off too.

Best money I have ever spent!
Purchased this wheelchair for my Grandson who is 10 and had a stroke at birth, he walks well but tires after a long day such as we were planning, 2 days at Dollywood for spring break. My grandson weighs approximately 140lb and is able to use his right hand very well to both lock and steer the chair. If there were 10 stars for this items I would give them, best purchase I have ever made!! He was able to maneuver from the parking lot, through the park (multiple times around) and back to the car after a full 10 hour day! If you have never been to Dollywood it is in the mountains and the terrain is steep sometimes!! There is nothing flat about this theme park and he had 2 of 5 bars of charge left at the end of the day. Most theme parks i am finding will not permit rental of ECVs to children under age 16 regardless of disability. This particular chair can be purchased with FSA funds and has an open spot for a 2nd battery that can be purchased on Amazon for about $180 but I cannot imagine many situations would require that. It fully charged in about 2 hours and can be charged overnight. It is a little heavy and would be tough for a small person to get in and out if the car is the ONLY drawback but most are heavier. It also folds the pushing handles down so it fits in places a conventional wheelchair will not. We added lights with remote for the undercarriage (coolness effect 9.99 on Amazon :) His face when he saw the chair for the first time was priceless, he was so happy that no one would have to push him around and he could get through a full day like the rest of the kids! He also knows walking is best and this is for special occasions. Buy the chair, you won't regret it!

A GREAT PURCHASE
This wheelchair is proving to be an excellent product. It was a gift to my mom who is 99 1/2. She is able to drive it and uses it on days when her mobility is compromised.

Add on fees after the fact!! Quality "6" six
Item is ok but not great. Concept is good but few issues. Legs are annoyingly dangerous. They lift up but not out making transferring extremely difficult. The ability to lift arm of chair is great BUT keeps getting loose requiring rescrewing. Battery life does NOT last 30 days... have to recharge every 3-4 days and that's with basic usage around the house only. Billing is Misrepresentative.. Billing aftermath nightmarish. I ordered this from amazon.ca not amazon.com Received an invoice from FedEx for "crossing the border" fee. Apparently the seller declared the value of the item in US$$ $1400 and customs charge $80 ... WHY ARE WE GETTING CHARGED in US$$ ???? Why is product made in China going through the USA? Send from China or within Canada is what it should be. We paid for the product as advertised and then got billed by FedEx for additional fees that apparently the seller added after the fact. The company went through FedEx to force additional shipping charges that were not pre-warned. ,
