This clock is great, as I already knew from using an identical model in several hotel rooms I have stayed in. I love how small the footprint is on my nightstand, and the extra AC and USB outlets are a big plus. The clock itself couldn't be simpler to set and use, and the three brightness levels give me all the flexibility I need. I have not yet tried the Bluetooth speakers for playing music, but the "guitar" alarm tone that plays through the speakers sounds great, and I like the gradual-wake feature that starts at a lower volume and gradually gets louder. I would be able to hear it whether or not I am sleeping with earplugs in. This clock was worth the price.

This is a great alarm that feels like its made to last a life time and more. The alarm sound has not driven me crazy, I use it every day. The Bluetooth speaker is decent but can get raspy it you put all the volume up (depending on the music). It has two charging ports for USB and USB-C. my phone gets charged fast. The alarm and time is easy to set, the instructions come written under the alarm so you will never loose them. It also comes with battery back up in case you loose power (battery not included).

Setting the time initially took a little getting used to.but this is a great clock. It’s heavy duty. The alarm works excellent. The charging ports are awesome and the extra outlets are even better. The Bluetooth speaker sounds good for a small speaker.

I spent hours trying to find an equivalent replacement for our Phillips Bluetooth clock (it isn’t dimmable and started to have a buzzing sound that was driving me crazy). This speaker is so high quality for playing white noise and music and has no buzzing sounds. I love that it is a surge protector cord and has the option to plug our phones into it (the cord is really thick because of this but it still fit perfectly behind our dresser). And the biggest seller for me was that it is dimmable and much nicer color than the bright orange display that the old Phillips clock had. The clock also feels really durable it has a nice weight to it and doesn’t slide around easily. Couldn’t be happier and will be buying more for another bedroom.

Overall I like this clock/speaker. It is compact, simple to use with minimal buttons and controls. Sound quality is pretty good. Seems solidly built and good quality. It seems to be intended for the hotel room market, which might explain a few quirks. Here are a few itmes that I did not see covered in the listing which might be of interest. It does not include any printed instructions. There is a small QR code on the side of the box with "User Manual" under it printed in tiny letters. It opens a PDF file which you can download, but it is a single large page with both French and English. You need to scan around to find setup/use info. You will need this to figure out how to set the time. I took off 1 star for this. Given the price point, it should include a printed manual. To save people time, you need to press and hold the Snooze/Dimmer button for 6 seconds, then rotate the knob to select the year, month, day and time and pressing down on the knob to set each of them. The power cord is round, 3/8" thick and really stiff. It has a 3 prong plug,with a receptical to plug in something else on top of it. A nice touch. It includes a plastic clip an screws to secure the cord to the wall or night stand. The numbers in the time display are about 0.8 inches high. The Bluetooth button turns Bluetooth completely on/off. It comes up in pairing mode whenever you turn it on. If I turn it off then back on it does not automatically reconnect to my phone. I have to open the Bluetooth settings on my phone to select it and reconnect each time. A good idea for hotel use, but inconvenient for home use. There are 2 hidden switches in the backup battery compartment on the bottom. One switches if the alarm setting is remembered from day to day or resets to 6:00 AM each day. The other turns on/off automatic daylight savings time adjustment.

So simple...yet so effective! The alarm clock is about as simple and well thought out as it gets. Hard to believe that others even make alarm clocks when they have to compete against this one. The chord is seriously heavy duty. And it has one of those plugs that allow you to plug another plug right into it (hopefully that makes sense). That is in addition to the two outlets on top. The bluetooth speaker is easy to link to. The only two negatives that I have found are that it does not have a radio. That would be nice for the alarm. And the blue tooth speaker, sounds pretty good, but is not very loud. Also...the price is pretty high. But I would buy it again. I don't think they make a better alarm clock out there.

Great! I came across this cube at one of my hotel stays. I ordered one and I’m very pleased with it. I’ve quit using my phone for the alarm, I find this cube one way more pleasant. It’s very easy to set the alarm once you’ve done it a couple times. Very happy with it.

I want my sleeping area to be pretty, uncluttered and tranquil. My nightstand was such a mess, I was searching for a way to get rid of my alarm clock-radio and replace it with an alarm clock with a decent Bluetooth speaker (I love to listen to podcasts or audiobooks before I fall asleep at night) I found the CubieBlue and had it on my wishlist for a few months but I didn't want a black clock, I wanted white to look nicer with my décor. When the CubieBlue became available in white I splurged and treated myself, a birthday gift for me. I just adore this thing and it was totally worth the price. It looks nice and allowed me to get rid of a larger alarm clock radio, a wireless Bluetooth speaker and 2 usb charging cables- this little guy does it all! It's super easy to set both the clock and the alarm. The Bluetooth always pairs easily with both of my Kindle Fire tablets and my laptop. The sound is very good for this kind of device, the volume is easily adjusted. I appreciate having a battery back-up for the alarm. And the alarm itself is perfect for me...it starts off very quiet and pleasant little beeping and only gets a wee bit louder if not turned off right away. I couldn't stand that my last alarm clock would get louder and louder to the point of shrieking. Now I can plug my tablet or phone into the Cubie to charge and I've been able to cut down on the cord jumble behind my nightstand. I like having the electrical outlets built in and have used this feature several times. It's a great place to plug in the vacuum or I can sit on my bed to use my hairdryer. I also love that the instructions for setting the clock and alarm are on the bottom of the unit. The only minor complaints I have are that the cord is a fat, heavy surge protector cord and it's not as flexible as I would like. I don't mind too much tho because I appreciate the surge protection for my electronic and it makes the extra electrical outlets possible. Secondly, I feel like the face of the clock itself could be better, it's quite bright even on the lowest setting as several have commented. It CAN be easily turned off but it doesn't bother me or keep me awake on low. I would definitely buy again or suggest to friends. This would make an excellent gift for teens, college students, older folks who can't bend down to plug things in, minimalists, etc. I'm super happy with this purchase ♥♥♥

I bought this CubieBlue as I had recently stayed in a hotel room that had one on the night table. I thought that the hotel--an excellent one--would not have purchased these if they didn't function well. I particularly like the two easily accessible USB ports, which simplifies charging my iPhone and iPad every night.
