You Will Love This Knife
I work in construction and my father in law gifted me the Gerber E.A.B LITE. If you’re looking for a very affordable everyday utility knife that you can be pretty rough with, the E.A.B LITE is a great little knife. My only gripe was that there is a screw you need to remove to swap out the blade. For Fathers’ Day, I wanted to upgrade my father in law’s Workpro EDC mini folding utility knife that he has been using. I went on a deep dive on utility blades with a few things in mind; quick change blade function and a smallish profile. I was between the Pichi G9, Tyrant Razor v3, and the WORKPRO premium titanium utility knife. After researching more the Pichi G9 seemed a little too small if you really wanted to bear down and have a good grip. I also read a review of someone’s experience with the other end of the blade coming out where your thumb would be when they were using the knife, which was a little concerning. The WORKPRO knife in comparison to the Exceed Designs Tyrant Razor v3 had a bulkier profile, was mainly not titanium even though it is listed as titanium, but was much more affordable at $30. However, It seemed like the WORKPRO knife was just a cheap knockoff of the Tyrant Razor v3.I ended up going with the Tyrant Razor v3 and couldn’t wait to give it to him as it has the best reviews on quality and also how the owner treats the customer. Safe to say, he loves the knife. It is the perfect size; 3.5” long when closed and about 6” when the blade is deployed. The width is 7/8” and thickness is about 3/8”. The quick change blade mechanism works flawlessly. The Exceed Designs knife actually is titanium and gives it a very nice weight and high end feel. It deploys smoothly and is really durable when you need to bear down and get a good grip. I was so impressed with the knife that I ordered my dad and I one as well. When ours arrived it came with a note from Josh (the owner) apologizing for the long processing time and that he upgraded the bearings free of charge due to the delay.I am thoroughly impressed with this product, but more so with the company. There’s not a lot of companies that care as much about customer satisfaction like Josh with Exceed Designs does. I will be a forever customer and look forward to purchasing different accessories and knives from them in the future. If you’re on the fence about this knife, don’t be. It’s a great product that you will be sure to love.

An excellent utility knife--costly but worth it.
I got this because I use a utility knife a lot. This is a well designed, well built utility knife. It has an excellent blade lock--if you have ever had a knife come back on your fingers, you will appreciate it. The replaceable blade holder holds the blades well, they do not come out when cutting sticky cardboard. It offers a good sturdy grip, but is light weight. The only down side is the gray color which means the knife can be hard to find if used outdoors. I put strips of scotch lite reflective tape on min that cures this. I would describe this knife as being the Peterbilt truck of utility knives, pricey but worth the extra money if you need a sturdy, easy to use reliable knife.

Smooth as hell!
This is probably the smoothest knife I’ve used, it flips open like butter, easy to disassemble, two screws and the thing comes apart. Blade changes take some getting used to but not super difficult, very simple design, takes about five minutes to take apart and put back together, for the one star reviews saying the screws stripped out, use heat on the screws, a butane torch preferably, read the instructions, make sure your bit fits right, and you can take it apart no problem. Includes extra parts if they break, and extra screws if stripped. My knife was upgraded with the black ceramic detent ball as well as a courtesy for arriving late, fantastic customer service, fantastic knife and fantastic company, will be buying more in the future!

It's a pocket knife you never have to sharpen!
I have been carrying some sort of knife for fifty years. Since I was eight years old. A sharp stone. One of mankind's earliest inventions. Sometimes in your live you just need to cut something.Today that means Amazon boxes.A pocket knife is something that is supposed to be used. Every time you use them they become more dull and less useful.I used to carry a Spyderco delica. Brilliant knife. Ordered it out of a catalog I sent for out of a Popular Macanics magazine I believe.Never held it until it came in the mail two weeks later. When it came I opened up and I was amazed at how nice this thing was!I think I cost $80 dollars in 1992. It open up so easily and shut so fast I actually cut myself. Way different from having to dig your thumbnail in and pull the blade out to get it to "lock" open.I carried that knife for fifteen years or better. Not only carried it but used it, sharpened it and used it some more.I could never get as sharp as I got it though.I finally started to look for something else. Gerber EAB. This was good. Small. Capable. But was not comfortable. It seemed to be unfinished. Cheap.I ordered this knife on Amazon with never holding it in my hand and again I am amazed. The quality of this little pocket knife for the price is quite impressive. It opens easily with one hand. It closes easily with one hand. It's easy to carry. It's always there when you need it and it is always sharp. A sharp stone that will last.I can see carrying this thing forever. Get one!
