I am short waisted and had to return it because it fit perfect but the waist band was uncomfortably snug. The next size up (LARGE) would be way too big on me (even though the waistband may feel a little less snug). Disappointed because it is so comfortable otherwise! This lounge set (black with striped grey sleeves and grey band across chest) is everything you wish for in quality and all day lightweight breathable comfort. BUT...the waistband is a little snug. Not a big deal if you have a small waist or hourglass figure. I am thin but short waisted (5'4" 132 lbs, 32" waist, got Size MEDIUM) and the waistband works fine when I tuck the shirt in.
