After installing the 1.5" kit, is a front end alignment necessary? Also, did you have to adjust the steering wheel back to center?

Any time you modify your stock suspension such as a leveling kit or lift you are also changing the geometry of the axle. With a minor lift you probably have not much room if at all to bring back to stock parameters with the stock lower control arms, etc. You are also shifting the axle to the side since the track bar isn't long enough to accommodate the new angles/height. Using the LCAs from the Mopar 2" lift helps with caster but will not center the axle from side to side. For that you need an adjustable track bar. After all that you will definitely need an alignment. If anyone tells you otherwise, they are dead wrong. If you don't do any of the above you will still be able to drive but the steering will be darty and will wander all over the place. Ask me how I know this.

Are the bump stops necessary if not planning severe 4x4 driving?

You will be fine but checkout the Teraflex replacement bump stops. Better than factory. Amazon sells it, yellow polyurethane.

This lift is for a 1 inch in the front for the rake, and a extra 1/2 inch in the back, correct? Total lift after correcting the rake is 1/2 inch?

No. It is either 1” or 1 1/2” front to level out the rake.

Will this fit 2022 gladiator?

I believe so...Gladiators (JT's) have not changed from their first year.
