Every kitchen in the UK seems to use Fairy Liquid for dishwashing. On a recent trip to England, having no laundry detergent handy, I used Fairy Liquid to hand wash delicate clothing items, and I was delighted with the results. Fairy Liquid cleaned beautifully, left a light pleasant smell, and best of all was extra-gentle on my hands. I was pleased to find on my return to the US that I could buy it on Amazon. Now I keep one bottle at the kitchen sink and another in the bathroom, for hand washing of delicates.

A superior product, but the price is simply too high in todays economy and delivery time waaay to long.

I have spent years trying to find the best dishwashing liquid for clean dishes. I have tried to use "eco friendly" dishsoap that's good for the environment, but it seemed like it took A LOT of detergent AND water!! Just a small amount of of Fairy Liquid (less than a dime) size does the trick!! One bottle lasted about 8 or 9 months and that included doing pots/pans and glassware for 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas! This works WAY BETTER than Dawn! Dishes are squeaky clean, and, as an added bonus, it doesn't smell awful!! Highly recommend!!

This dish detergent reminds me of dish detergents from back in the 1960s. It is not watered down like the detergents today. It really cuts grease and it cleans my dishes and everything so well. It gets subsy and quickly creates bubbles. It is more expensive but it actually saves money because one bottle last as long as two bottles of what you would buy in most supermarkets here in the united states.
