Didn't work. 100 Million + people died.

Very disappointing that I have to buy this product. Marxs would be very upset.

The book functions as it's supposed to: there are words on paper which can be read. However, Communism is a terrible idea, which is why I gave it one star.One must buy this book, if only to prevent others from buying it and wasting their money (or worse: becoming brainwashed).WOLVERINES!!!!

This strips communism of all the modern political rhetoric and gives a compelling look at the historical heart of the movement that is so demonized today. Marx and Engels weren't devils incarnate, they were bleeding heart optimists who dared to believe in a world where men with less aren't slaves to men with more. It's an ideology not fit for our imperfect world, but it's still nice to dream.

The theological secular horror of our time. CIA Director John Brennen voted Communist. This should tell you something about the United States but you will only understand the current chaos of the US if you read the Manifesto, then read it again, and then reread the Manifesto. Annihilate all morality and all religion, establish Free Trade, Centralized all communication by the government, establish Democracy, annihilate Justice, Liberty, and Freedom all to support the New Jerusalem and monopoly of the World Market. Eliminate nationality, family and eliminate borders. Overturn and destroy the existing state of things! In the Manifesto the proletariat becomes more and more 'equalized', meaning reduced to nothing, powerlessness, silenced, in the scripted struggle. This is the real meaning behind the lie of Utopianism Marxist try to sell to people. No one person has more power than the other. You are all silenced and equalized. Think about that for two seconds and ponder the horror. Who has say in the Communist Marxist system? Only the bankers. Not even a billionaire like Trump cannot change the system in the US, so now you have some perspective your Marxist Neo Liberal professor did not give you. Marxism is based on One Totalitarian Government. Communism is a theological creation sold in a secular package to ideologues who don't read or understand Marx's theology.

Small, definitely pocket sized, shorter than expected for such a reviled book. I would recommend tearing out the 2020 Publisher’s Forward for an enhanced experience, free bookmark, or just buy from a company that doesn’t try to advance their own agenda while capitalizing on beliefs they find particularly egregious.While the publisher would like to ask that all those reading this work keep in mind the “millions” of people whose lives and livelihoods have been destroyed by those seeking to implement the idea that classist systems should be abolished and the people should own and profit off the means of their own production, while I would like the ask that all those reading this work keep in mind the millions bought and sold into slavery in support of the capitalist system with which we still abide, keep in mind the millions bought and sold into slavery today by wealthy people who want cheap labor, keep in mind the millions currently incarcerated in private for profit prisons who can also legally be used as slave labor in the United States. Keep in mind the millions of people who live in poverty in the wealthiest nations in the world. Keep in mind the tens of millions with medical and school debt in one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Keep in mind the millions who would be financially ruined if they were to lose their jobs while their wealthy employers who provide little to no labor yet take in capital can hide behind an LLC if their company goes belly up.Keep in mind that there has never been a country in the world to actually implement a communist social structure, since it would be impossible if you were wholly self sufficient. There is no hierarchy, there is no currency, you provide what you can and get what you need.Keep in mind that the basic idea of communism has already been implemented as solutions to the failings of capitalism both private and public worldwide. Insurance is a system in which we all contribute what we can, and receive what we need even if it exceeds our contributions. The police, public roads, fire department, public education system, the government itself, we all contribute what we can of our labor, of our money, and we receive what we need in return.If you are going to read this book, this theory, keep in mind that the alternative is that the ruling classes, whoever they may be, are in their rightful station above you. To advocate against communism is to advocate against the working class, the middle class, blue collar people who have to work constantly just to stay alive. You’re advocating for the massively wealthy to contribute no labor to the system they created and still get a cut of the pie because they own it. You are advocating against people keeping the value of their own labor under cooperative systems in which they don’t just contribute to the means of production but also are a part owner.If you expect communists to accept, understand, and abide by your capitalism, the absolute least you could do is understand their communism.

Got my copy and pages 9 through 40 are inverted and upside down. The entire book is goofed up because of this. I'm not pleased.

Bought this so I can learn how to live in Joe Biden’s America. A great manual for those looking to survive.

Pass MarxThe layman's reviewNo one asked for this, but still...Okay first advice: keep a dictionary around(or the Google assistant).One might say that this book is too much information in a short number of pages (me being 'one'), but we have to understand that Karl(my childhood friend) is trying to explain the entire idea of communism(which is kind of complex) in less than a 100 pages(that's a manifesto). The book is amazing. It makes you understand communism to the core and what it stands for. The sentences are too long with too many commas. Bear with it. Oh yeah and you'll have to actually pay attention while reading(it's not Percy Jackson), or else it won't make sense at all. This book makes you want to rebel but then you realize your family belongs to the bourgeoisie and not the proletariat (and then you thank god that India is capitalist). I know you didn't understand those words. Bourgeoisie: middle class (kind of upper middle class)Proletariat: working class, the one who work on minimum wageChill, even I googled this.The book is full of words, which if used in random conversations, can make you look extremely knowledgeable.Now comes the main question, would this book make you a communnist?! The answer lies in the impressionability of your mind. I personally think it wouldn't because the communist movement wasn't for the class of the society that you belong to. Maybe your maid or your driver might become a communist after reading this book. But then again, if they are able to understand these long comma filled sentences they wouldn't be doing what they are doing in the first place.🙂

An interesting and important book that i dont agree with (hence the 1 star rating) but if you want to understand the enemy then read what they've written.

Gifted to a friend; however he was shocked to find a phone screen protector instead of a much anticipated communist manifesto, so I can only imagine that someone is walking round with a communist manifesto on the front of their phone- 10/10 would distribute communist propaganda again

A glimpse into the mind of the devil. Read and understand the evil ideology that has gripped our world for hundreds of years, killed 100 million people, and continues to drag our societies into the bowels of degeneracy.

The Communist Manifesto is an outstanding explanation of the despicable degeneracy of the hearts and minds that has infected generations of our nations youth!  This diabolically hypocritical ideology has not only failed in every system it has encountered to “revolutionize”, it considers the HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of innocent WORKING CLASS people that have died as a result of its draconian dogmas to be expendable statistics, to be ignored as mere oversights of a Progressive Utopia.  How can I prove this? Why by reading this cacophony of lies, of course, and applying it to reality.What has always confused me is how a) the Communists consistently and unceasingly claim to defend the “working class” of the world, and yet, are fundamentally opposed to both “working” and “class”; and b) wish to abolish all forms of property by literally turning all citizens into property of the State.  .....smh.The Commies also conveniently forget that the hardest “working class” is in fact the MIDDLE CLASS, the bourgeois, whom they despise to the utmost. This tells the unbiased reader that their passionate striving for “equality” is merely an act of schoolyard jealousy.  They convince themselves they are the “have-not’s” when in reality, they are simply the lazy and childish “will-not’s”They threaten the “ruling class” (pg 55) when all they really only want to BE the “ruling class” (pg 36).  The Commies claim to hate a Centralised government where wealth in concentrated to the few, but in fact, they tout a Centralized State controlled form of “Credit, Money, Labour, Communication, Transport, Inheritances, and of course Property” all augmented by a “heavy income tax”. (pg 35,36).     So who decides where and how all this Wealth is distributed?   The few, of course. Commies decry the family, and home education, (pg 29) which has only proven to benefit civilized society; and would prefer your children be property of the State, which has proven to be mentally and physically destructive to children, who are raised without a solid family, and who are many times being forced into child trafficking.  Senator Nancy Schafer was murdered whilst exposing this.Woe to you, hypocrites. No wonder Jesus Christ despised you so much.I recommend this book to everyone! For half of us, it explains everything wrong with Society, and the other half, it defines us. (Lose 1 star for contradictory statements throughout)
