Awesome Quality
Great gloves. The sizing guide worked well. My hand measured 10 inches so I ordered the large, as recommend. They fit snug but have already loosend up a little after a couple workouts. I like the little flags on the back of the fingers. They make removal easier and take up excess material that would otherwise get in the way while gripping. The wrist wrap is sturdy but comfortable. There is no bunching in the seems that can create pressure points like I have experienced with other brands. These are good quality gloves and are worth the price.

XXL
Training and trainer for over 20 years, these are the best gloves you will ever use in your life. I measured 11 ordered Xl and XXL, XXL way better wrist and support for all fingers for heavy work. Spend the extra money and won't have to ever again. Grip is great, easy to remove look great, not to thick.

Build Those Muscles In Style
I am really liking these new gloves by Schiek. They feel very comfortable when I am wearing them and they don't make my hands get all sweaty. I like the fins on the fingers for getting the glove off after a workout. They make pulling the glove off very simple. The wrist strap is functional and comfortable. The strap is easily adjusted if you need it to be tighter, simply wind the strap around your wrist there is velcro that it attaches to and holds well. My hands feel well protected without there being too much fabric bunching up and in the way. The glove fingers cover exactly one half of my fingers right up to the middle knuckle on each one. I recommend going to the Schiek website for sizing the gloves. I would have sworn I had average medium sized hands. But when I measured according to the Schiek website I found that I should order a small. So I ordered the small and it fits like a glove (pun intended). You know what else? These gloves look so damned good on me when I am wearing them with the black and tan. Update 12/12/12 - Two years in and still using these gloves. They have been great. I work out at the gym with free weights an average of three times per week. There are no tears in them yet, no holes anywhere. The velcro on the wrist straps are still holding tightly. My hands and fingers are completely and comfortably protected. I wash them in the sink in warm water and a little soap about every three weeks or so. Rinse them in clear water, then hang them by the wrist straps to dry on the shower rack. They dry in about 24 hours or so. I was just wearing them today as a matter of fact. Love those fins. Love the black and tan. Update 11/28/15 - Hard to believe it has been nearly 5 years since I wrote this review. I am still wearing the same pair of gloves at the gym. I still go 3 times a week and wear them a hour each session. They are fully intact except for just a small little tear around one of the wrist straps. That's it, everything else about them is still perfect and functional after 5 years. That includes hand washing them regularly too.

Superb design, materials and construction
I am reviewing the 425 model. I thought my basal thumb joint damage would spell the end of many years of enjoying weight training. I wear a special brace to keep my hand functional and to avoid surgery. When these gloves arrived and I tried them on, I didn't want to remove them because they actually feel better than the brace! This is due to the "Keystone Thumb" design, the special padding ,the webbing, the superior stitching and assembly. A lot of care went into the design of these gloves, the materials selected, and the construction. They protect where you need protection and yield where you need movement. The wrist straps are an outstanding addition. I got this model because the finger portion is shorter than on the other gloves and I wanted to make sure they would not interfere with the joints when gripping. And all that good news is all before lifting, pushing, pulling, and gripping! They give me a lot of confidence in my grip, which translates into a whole different attitude in holding and using barbells, dumbbells and machines. They assist me in ways I hadn't expected gloves could. I used to feel wearing gloves was optional, maybe just to prevent slipping or calluses, but now I feel I'm on a whole new level and wouldn't want to be without these. I believe they will last a long time, as others have commented on. That they can be run through a washer and dryer load is a huge plus. I like that they are made in the USA and the price is great. The company makes a big deal about the fins in their promotional material. The fins are great, but they really should also mention the other design features that set these gloves in a class of their own.

Gym gloves
Good Leather. Good quality. Less wrist strap. One orbit with this thickness wrist strap be good.

Tough long lasting gloves
Not a fan of the wrist supports so, I removed them. Gloves are perfect for the type of workout I do in the gym. Tough gloves will last as I do abuse them.

These are a good quality glove
This was my first pair of Schiek and won't be my last. I've been a Harbinger buyer for years, and they always seem to wear out quickly, with the rubber nubs either ripping off or the foam backing disintegrating. Seems that most of the gloves out there for ladies are for "looks" and not practicality. I want primarily a good grip to be able to lift and then secondary to prevent callouses. I also prefer the wrist wrap gloves for extra support. My hands are 3 1/4 and 3 1/2 inches so I ordered the mans small of the Schiek 425. I think the extra smalls would have been too tight. I knew I liked them the minute I opened them but I waited to review for 6 weeks. I really like these, they are so comfortable. The leather is very soft, the palm is padded well but not too much, with nothing external to rip off. There is a little extra padding around the thumb which was a little weird feeling at first but I like it now. The wrist wrap fits nice and snug with plenty of velcro (I've had to sew extra velcro onto other past gloves). There is actually a velcro closure with the very first wrap and then once you are completely around, more velcro at the end. The fins are a great invention! How many times have you struggled to get your sweaty gloves off?? Never again! The tan leather does show the dirt - but all the more of a reminder of probably just how many germs are on them and that they need to be washed. Threw mine in with the laundry last week, perfect, no damage, I even took a chance and put them in the dryer with the other clothes, checking on them halfway through - still in brand new condition. Nice. I've yet to discover a "con" about them and will definitely buy another pair - if and when these need to retire :)
