I use this every day. Have it since April2021 and works as promised. The recipe booklet is very easy and well explained so makes it even easier to use. I have a convection microwave and I was advised against buying one saying that the Airfryer is a glorified convection oven. It’s not true, both have its own benefits. You can heat up and cook faster in the Airfryer, with fraction of the time and grease.

Wow, I have been using it for 3 months now and have stopped using pans to cook my food. Have reduced the consumption of oil drastically. This product works like a charm just wish I used this earlier. I am amazed at how often we use this product. No gripes with this product at all works well with everything and the perfect the only thing is I think it may not work well for things that are breaded have tried using it to cook chicken vegis and everything else. It works really well only when I bread the stuff that I'm gonna cook it turns out to taste weird guess it doesn't cook properly.

Purchased mainly for KETO diet and impressed with the results. Simply can make KETO pizza and frying. You would never regret on this purchase. Can recommend to anyone.

1) the bread toast comes out crispy on the outside and soft in the inside 2) much quieter 3) the 5l space is big , I can cook all my chicken thighs for a family of 4 in one meal 4) the non-stick pan is easily to clean, so is the heating elements on the top 5) definitely value for money!!!

I love it! It’s my 1st purchase of air fryer and I made the right decision of choosing cosori. It’s so easy to use and the presets and the cook book helps a lot in easy cooking. I have been using it eversince which saves me a lot of time. It comes out crispy with little oil. Highly recommended air fryer! Sleek design too! Edit: after few months of using and carefully washing it with soft sponge, the nonstick coating of the removable basket and the draining basket started to peel off. Still works wonderfully though but just saddening that with a nice working air fryer their non stick coating is not really non stick after all. Poor quality of coating.

This is a review of the Cosori 5.5 litre air fryer. Although I'm still learning to adjust cooking times and temps it really is so easy. You check on food, put the drawer back in and it carries on its programme, or you can change time or temperature. I use ordinary bowls and tins, have to find the right size (about 7.5-8 inches max) and protect the drawer's surface with baking paper underneath whatever you're using. Only put it under something do not have it in the drawer on its own while preheating because the fan will draw it up into the heating element. Likewise use a weight such as a rack to hold down lightweight food items. When using the basket drawer itself oil the food not the drawer I find works best, haven't got an oil sprayer. Frozen fish and chips cooked better in this than the oven. Washing up is quick and easy because the drawer is so light weight and separates very easily. It fits in an ordinary washing up bowl well enough too. I use a piece of kitchen roll to dry the slits in the side but you can just use the preheat setting to dry it in a hurry. I got the white one because I thought it would be less of a black lump sitting on the side and it was a good idea, looks nice. The only thing I could do with is one of those silicon bowl inserts but they seem quite expensive at the moment. I might get the square silicon replacement for parchment paper to protect the basket.. The recipe book is 'translated' from American and is very useful if you are a dedicated meat eater, not so much for veggie or vegan but I am gradually adapting some things using the programmes for root or green veg. All in all a really good machine that will save on time and money on electricity as its so quick. Pretty much anything you'd cook in an oven can be cooked in this, more quickly and at a lower temperature, it tells you in the accompanying literature the exact proportion of reduction in these. There is a "shake" reminder too. 👍

Coming back to this review after a year and I still stand-by my thoughts. Cosori have made the best air fryers, affordable and well designed. Even if it shows signs of wear from heavy use, it's a better device than InstntPot, Phillips and Tefal by a country mile. If the basket wears, just buy another basket. The device is still far better designed that anything else (I've used) on the market. Have owned this device for more than twelve months and it one of the most useful items in my kitchen. It's form factor means it fits anywhere I need to use it, but even better, I can sneak it on holiday too (mainland obviously). Anyone (even novices) can use to improve their culinary output. Simple to setup and use; works better than you imagined and will improve every meal in ways you won't believe. The other major benefit is that cleaning it is really simple, certainly something you do need to be aware of. This particular model is my 'default present' for wedding gifts, birthdays and house-warmings. I purchased one for my parents; mainly because my Mum can't bend down to use the main oven, but it cooks everything (they enjoy) and cleaning-up is low effort. It's also much cheaper to run than an oven. *I have now purchased six in total. Only one problem, simply rectified. Top tip: get the large one. If you have a family, you will find the air fryer is always in use and you need more space for other items. You can cook a whole chicken in an air fryer, the larger model allows you to cook a larger chicken (which is always very popular). The only tools you will need are a good pair of nylon cooking tongues, an oil spray bottle and Teflon base sheet. If you can, try to get the small riser too, this will allow you to cook two (or more) items at the same time. Children will enjoy learning to cook too. Just follow the simple rules and you will have years of delicious results.

As expected it does what it was designed to do, it cooks food nicely and in less time and effort than using the oven. I have noticed a drop in my electric consumption from not using the oven as much (if at all) so my purpose of buying this to save energy has been achieved, with the added benefit of more evenly cooked food. Cleaning is easy due to non-stick coating, just make sure not to shove metal utensils or cutlery in there and it should ensure a decent lifespan of the coating. I've had it nearly 2 months with daily use and its holding up well. Overall I have and will continue to recommend an air fryer to anyone, perhaps not exclusively this product as it isn't the cheapest but for its size and build quality I'd say it is fairly priced.

I am surprised by how good this air fryer is. We owned a Vonshef 5l air fryer previously and that stopped working 10 days before Christmas. Was having a mini panic as we do most our cooking in air fryer for the last 3 years. After some concentrated research decided to give Cosori a go. Likely my ignorance as I had not heard of Cosori before but the product is excellent. Roasted a whole chicken (~2kg) in 1 hr for Christmas and it did not disappoint. Particularly noticeable was the ease of cleaning after as that was always a problem with the Vonshef one. The pre-heat function as claimed in the manual does make a massive difference to the cooking and ensures that recipes turn up as intended always without failure I can't recommend this product enough especially for the value of money and its sleek look.
