Q: Does it scratch the floor?

It's recommended for carpet. I use it on carpet/rugs, and it's just fine. But I've never tried using it on our wood floors- I'd imagine it WOULD scratch it.

Q: Does the solo fit board keep it’s shape ?Seems like more pliable and might not retain original shape ?

Too be honest, they eventually break, but it took about 3 years.. so not bad..

Q: Board moves when using? Every few minutes it will move a few inches. Am I using it wrong?

This is a normal occurrence for beginners. You just need more balance practice. Usually it takes a week or two, until you fully absorb the board and begin to skillfully perform the exercises. Also pay attention to floor surface on which you perform exercises. It should be sufficiently smooth to perform a twist. You can find more information on our YouTube channel. Q: Does this cause a burning smell/rough wear on carpet like other boards? If so, does anyone have a mat they'd recommend?

We have used this board for long periods of time on several different carpet surfaces in our home. We have not experienced any burning, marking, or smells. No discoloration on the board or carpets. I have noticed minor scratch marks on hardwood floors after a session but that can be attributed to sand or dirt between the board and floor. (Not that we have dirty floors, you understand.)
