I have children wrap the outside top of the jar with this Rafia and place it inside the jar with these pasted on the inside of the jar, and a tea like candle inside the kids, love the feel of the Rafia, and working with it, and so do I. If reminds you of a bucolic autumn day, I also saw on a video that there are different projects where you can weave i strands of Rafia together and make different things. It’s a unique arts and crafts material.

I used this to wrap around rice krispie treats to make them look like hay bundles for a baby shower. Very easy to use. Good quality.

Good quality for basket weaving. I bought this with the intention of basket weaving with it. The strands are a good length and color is even throughout each strand. I would recommend this for basket weaving and other crafts.

I took the wood and twine from a sisal chew toy and made my own since the cat went for the raffia grass only and she LOVES to chew on the big, long strands and much cheaper.

Oh my reason for buying it because I couldn’t find any at Michael’s so I ordered it from Amazon. I like it it’s really nice.
