This is a very nice set, and definitely giftable; however it lacks craftmanship. The gold trim was poorly sprayed on, and truth be told, I was actually looking for something without the obnoxious gold on it because it definitely looks tacky. It is not the same precision as Royal Albert or Lenox, and in a few of the cups I had to wash off the smear gold paint in a few areas with one of those sponge pads that has a scrubber on the other side (you have to be careful so that you don't take off the design of the roses). For $80, you get a complete set, which is nice... but as far as "bone china", I'm hesitant to believe in the quality of it. The product itself has areas that are not entirely smooth... I suppose this is a nice set, but I recommend a set without the "trims", because usually the decal designs are flawless and you don't have to deal with gold or silver paint to cheapen the look. Unfortunately I couldn't find one with this rose design just on its own. Also, my recommendation is garage sales and online market place sales on social media sites, because you can usually find a complete set of quality china for a very inexpensive price... otherwise you'll have to pay the big bucks for the name brand sets. (I'm talking true quality heirloom china.) I found such a set on FB marketplace, but unfortunately some were missing pieces to the set, or some sellers where just too far from me locally. The underside of this tea set has no stampings on it, which is a good thing in my opinion... because I would not want something that says "ufengke" stamped on the bottom of a china set. It's nice, and might even be porcelain, but it's definitely not fine china or bone china.

The caddy is cheap looking. Had to duck tape handle to secure it in place. The tea set, itself is pretty, however, I think it could have been better quality made.
