Excellent reel
Excellent fishing reel and light weight

Loved the look and price of this reel and the spec looked amazing, ordered and prayed it was as good as it sounded. Well it certainly was, lovely clutch that i have had purring on a number of occassions. I have well and truly tested this reel out on some rugged coastline chasing wrasse. On one session i landed 20 ballan wrasse to over 4lb from deep snaggy gullies, the reel handled these powerful fish easily. I am buying another of these reels and have nothing negative to say about them.

Had this reel about a year but used it about 3-4 times. Dont like it at all. Worked great 1st Time but after 3-4 times spinning itโs stiff and clunky. I take care of all my reels after sea fishing and this one is not with what the penn 3 costs. Itโs stiff and not smooth. I cleaned and oiled but still stiff. Pity. Iโm disappointed to be sure. Waste of cash.
