There is some slight color transfer when it’s newly dyed so I would sleep on stark white pillowcases or anything. I haven’t had any issues with it transferring to my clothes but then again I wear a lot of black and bold colors (where it wouldn’t show anyway). **Q: Does using a shampoo and conditioner with menthol in it(american crew) affect how long the color last? And anyone know if Redken color extend helps?** A: Menthol is usually harsh on colors. This is not a permanent color so it will very likely wash it out faster. Redden color extend helps maintain it, but won't help counter balance the menthol in the shampoo. Suggest you use only shampoo and conditioner designed for colored hair. **Q: So my hair is like a lightish ash blonde. Will I need to bleach my hair to get it to be a vibrant purple?** A: Jerome is so strong and naturally good, I would say how long and how light? If you have somewhat longer hair (thick/touch shoulders) and one can I would do I light bleach.
